I have watched 'He's Just Not That Into You' every single time it's been on HBO (which is a lot) just so I can stare at Scarlett Johanssen's rack.  I may need and intervention.  I think i'm in love...

watched it non stop as well...and from everything pbr has read and heard she is quite the little vixen in hollywood circles....she does make the rounds and makes no "bones" about it...

SF agrees with all... she's a dirty little minx though, SF heard she did a sex scene in a non-porn movie and let the dood stick it in. 

Well that is real acting!  And if it's true, my love for her grows more.

If you watched any of the tortilla chip bowl last night... did you see the LB from TCU that had 3 nike sweatbands (the 1/2" kind, the ones that absorb about 2 drops of sweat) on EACH bicep? I was rooting for TCU until I saw that guy.

The whole issue I had with this whole Texas Tech thing is that Leech was initially supsended because of the incident, then Leech goes to the courts and then Texas Tech ends up firing him?  Maybe Frank can add something about this but it seems like Leech might have a case here now against Texas Tech.

Leach forced the school's hand, from the way I understood it.  Technically, the school could not suspend the coach in this fashion because of some clause in his contract that provided specific steps for suspension.  That's why Leach was seeking the injunction.  In order to prevent Leach from having a leg to stand on in court that day, the school had no other way to prevent him from coaching in the Alamo Bowl but to terminate him.  Was it the money or Leach's force play in the court that got him fired?  We'll never know for sure.  But to answer your question, the school needs to show that it had independent rationale for reprimanding Leach in the first place and had no other option but to fire him in order to prevent further damage.  I don't think he has good legal standing here since he did something that is against public policy in the first place (so whether or not contract law applies, public policy is an important consideration in a case like this where the harm to student-athletes could be prevented by removing him in the school's/courts' eyes).  Likely, we will see a settlement in the vicinity of $500,000 to just end this nightmare for both Leach and the school.  That's all Leach can really hope for here, reasonably.

this is a good point.  Probably got some very 'short-sighted' legal advice in this regard.  His lawyer should have (and maybe he/she did) made it clear to him that if he sues them to coach in the bowl game, they may just legally fire him.  They called him and raised him.  Hindsight is 20/20...but he should have taken his medicine and lived to fight (coach) for Texas Tech another day.

I heard that the 'closet' was the size of a  1 car garage.  82 has a 1 car garage and Mrs 82 has threatened to relegate 82 to it many times.  Mrs 82 should take heed of what happened to Mr. Leach.

82 would note that the 1 car garage is not small enough to warrant the firing that Leach got.  Craig James is a biatch.  Wasnt it rumored that he was doing coke the night before the '86 Super 'Blowout' that his Patriots got whacked in?  Anyone recall that?  82 seems to remember his rushing stats to be something like 13 carries for minus 8 yards???

police officer drivin on highway ,clips the side of a 'wide load trailer' carrying a piece of a pre-fab house.  chunk of house, including insulation, two by four, and his own radio wire from his chest, goes right through him. he gets pinned in the car and then wipes out down into a ravine.  5 hours later the driver of the 'wide load' returns to the seen aftr finding blood on his rig. Police officer comes out of surgery fine.

I've got to side with Gro on this one, those special edition TCU uni's are fugly! They unveil them for their big games, was hoping that someone wouldn't allow them to wear them last night. Still doesn't beat Army's camo uni's during 2008 Army-Navy game, but close.  Still trying to figure out why the red stripes on the helmet, and that grey is just wrong.  As to Oregon, hit or miss. Some of them are just awful, but I'm high on some of the others.

They added the red stripe towards the end of the year because a horned frog has red in its eyes.. SF is an encyclopedia of useless info.
