PA went to the GTech - Duke BB game earlier.  Couple of comments:

1.  G Tech has all this talent and the worst X and O's gut around (blew the last TO then needed it 30 sec later).
2.  Duke fans suck.  Calling Rev:  The hottest Dookie there was this fit Asian bird with a tight Dook jersey on.
3.  Duke sucks.  They've got like eight white guys in their ten man rotation, the brothers are ok, #55 with the Amish chin strap is a stiff and Scheyer is overrrated - a poor man's Redick w/o the players around him.
4.  The ACC probably can't carry the Big East's jockstrap this year based on what I've seen.
5.  FSU looked better two weeks ago then Duke.

Funny pa, there are only two athletic teams on this earth dlip roots against more than Duke Basketball (obviously RPI Football/Hockey) so needless to say dlip was elated at GT's win yesterday. dlip thinks it is pretty cool that you were in attendance. Duke fans are tools huh? Big ****in surprise :o

Tuberville to Texas Tech & Pete Carroll to the Seahawks?

In U89's opinion, both moves will fail miserably.  Carroll has the world by the nuts at USC....I don't see his rah, rah stuff working at the NFL level.  Tuberville, walked into a powerhouse at Auburn and eventually drained the life out of the program.....let's see him recruit kids to come to Lubbock, TX.

Gro agrees with this statement word for word.... don't get used to that jerkface.

If you're the head coach at an upper tier college program why leave?

Pete is a decent head coach and a very good d-cood on the pro level.  But once you got a college program rolling, especially after tasting the NFL job, you gotta have rocks in your head.  Coaching in the NFL is a 70+ hour job all year around.

Forget golfing every week, pressing hands with happy boosters.  The banquets where you are the star, and the kids lining up to play for you.

How many games does Pete win on talent alone? 6... 7... 8...

He's crazy if he leaves.

It's all but a done deal.  LA Times guessing that SC will go after OSU's Riley first.  Couldn't come at a worse time.  SC has had several blue chips leave for other programs after committing to come to LA.

It was a good run while it lasted.  Guess TGP will need to get used to 8-4 and Nut bowl games.

Reggie Bush, O.J. Mayo, Joe McKnight...Maybe he knows something is about to blow up and things won't be so happy in LaLaLand soon?

I have come to the conclusion that if you win the coin flip in a playoff or big game, you sould take the ball first.  I am all for defering to the second half throughout a season.

Does it matter if you fumble and throw a pick when you get the ball?

I do agree with you.  Unless your Defense is a Beast.

Pats got pretty much manhandled today. dlip did not see this coming and was amazed when the score was 24-0 Baltimore at the end of the first Quarter :o. 3:10 left in the first half in Arizona and the cards look like they may punch it in again.

Great catch and run by Dusett, wow!

I hate to say it but I see a Jets/Ravens Championship game.  The Jets remind me a lot of that Giants team 2 years ago or the Steelers last year.  Tough defenses toward the end of the season.

I still can't decide if I like Rex Ryan or not.

The Rev moved this weekend to a new pad.  Small but decent.  Took forever to get the heat and warm water up to temperature, but once it got there, place was comfy.  The Rev is now much closer to the village and can walk to favorite restaurant in about 5 minutes instead of 30.

The Rev missed the gun discussion, which was a good thing for Rev's karma.

Good to hear JT glad she is O.K. Jets win a big one today running the ball. Cincy stacked the box but could not stop Greene and Jones on the ground. Sanchez also played mistake free football with a TD pass and no picks. Congrats to the Jets.

SF was at the Bungles/J-E-T-S .... worse than the play on the field was the attitudes of the fans.  SF and his buddy were walking out of the stadium and heard some Cincy retard talking about 9-11.  SF turned around and grabbed him by the jacket collar.  Both SF and buddy have been talking today and we shoulda punched the MF'er.... and dealt with consequences (cops were 10 feet away).  Amatures.

Sometimes though when I play grand theft auto I might punch a cop in the face and then steal his car because I know theres a shotgun in the trunk......just saying.

SF likes to rob the hookers on GTA... especially if you catch them after 3am when they have more money.  But yeah, SF likes to punch cops too..

Sadly, this is the point where the Jet's raise their fans expectations, only to crush them against the rocks. They've been doing it to us for so long that we're pretty hardened, but they just find different ways to do it. Hell, they've done it to us twice this year already. It's so bad that as a parent, I couldn't in good conscience put my kids through this, so they are Giants fans.

As to Rex Ryan, love him or hate him, at least the guy is interesting, and gives some fun press conferences/ interviews. In contrast to most of the cliche driven coaches out there.
