For those on Facebook......there is a great group called, "TEAM LEACH".  The group is dedicated to supporting Mike Leach and TT football in general over the actual institution.  If you go on, go into the photo's area.  In and around photo 150 are some apparent e-mails from administrators involving Leach's impending contract from January & February '09.....pretty interesting stuff if authentic.

there was definetly some back office dealing by the administration at TT...there was a contingent that wanted leach out in the worse way and were going to jump on anything to try and get rid of him. think all 3 parties involved in this mess are going to come out looking bad when its all said and done

also looked like more problems as usc for carroll....he jumped before the house of cards came crashing down. ncaa also announced mid feb. they are meeting to discuss the punishments for usc football program....

I like Craig James even less after reading this:

http://outofbounds.nbcsports.com/2010/01/merrie-spaeth-spaeaks-out-on-mike-leach-craig-james-swiftboating-and-darkened-sheds.html.php

So these guys were responsible for the "after much thought and prayer, we decided to move forward" quote...anyone that starts out with something like this is an a$$ in my book.

dlip doesn't think there are any two ways about it; regardless of what happened to his son, Craig James is simply a piece of **** with personal aspirations and a ****ed up sense of entitlement as well. dlip thinks there is only a very few people who think highly of James and James himself tops the list, scumbag.

The real shame of a situation like Texas Tech or USC is that there are so many good coaches who are good men, and they don't have a snowballs chance in hell of making it at a big school because the dirtballs running big universities and the athletic departments hire dirtballs to coach.  Dirt attracts dirt.

The Rev is also pretty tired of the NCAA trying to play themselves off as angels.  They're the dirty motherdlippers who created the entire putrid system.

P.S. The Rev went on a date tonight and was uncharacteristically smooth.  It as almost as if someone else occupied my body just for the few hours necessary to make a good impression.

The problem here is Mike Garrett the AD (not that SF particularly likes SC).... but the guy is a scoundrel who failed with his first couple of football hires (John Robinson --the 2nd time coaching at SC, and Paul Hackett).   He was going to pin all this on Pete Carroll, who knew it.  Don't get me wrong, SF is glad Pete Carroll is gone from SC and they are going to be on probation --- which all SHOULD equal to a Notre Dame win in this new decade (hopefully).

Not sure, honestly.  The Rev has never really been much of a stud.  After all, The Rev really did plan on being a real Rev one day, so such activities were frowned upon for a good portion of The Rev's life.  TGP can verify that The Rev was known at Hobart for being likable, not lovable. (Although his g/f and mine were roommates.)  Or let's put it this way, there was a room in the Sigma Chi house called "The Swamp."  Once The Rev moved in, it was renamed "The Monastery."

Having said that, The Rev finds it much, much easier to read the signals from Korean women.  Not sure why, but The Rev just understands the Korean mind better.  Kimchi and Hello Kitty.  What else?

Congrats Rev...though I was picturing the moment more like "Frank the Tank" during the debate against James Carville in Old School...either way, well played.

Wow, that is a dick move, don't care how much he liked USC. Can't argue that USC hasn't been a better program over the past decade (or historically), but it's not a huge upgrade from Tennessee. I'd go ahead and say Mr. or Mrs. Kiffin might not want to ever find themselves in said mountains, they might wonder where that banjo sounds coming from... Suuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!
