Why have we not heard really any players corroborating these meddling allegations?  I'm sure Craig James would have been known and visible to any player who's been there long enough to know these personalities.  The players have pretty much supported Adam James during this whole thing -- My point is that we're pretty much trusting the allegations of a wrong-doer without looking for much to corroborate those allegations.  There's a lot more supporting evidence in the other direction presently -- and that's why I'm not really comfortable crucifying James yet.  Of course, that could change.

First of, it's ALLEGED wrong doer as it relates to Leach. And what crime are we talking about? Did he hit a kid? Was any harm done to the kid? The only offense he has been accused of is bad judgement and immature behavior.

As to the players, how exactly would they be aware of phone calls between Craig James and the staff? Also, there are a lot of kids on a football team, and everyone has their group. And I'm sure Adam Jones has some good friends on the team. And there are a lot of kids who don't get the playing time they think they deserve.

So that automatically means that Craig James is to blame for all of this?  That's my point -- these things are not mutually exclusive.  And let's face it -- Leach would've told somebody about all of this meddling if it reached the level that he's now claiming it reached.  That's the problem here -- his allegations are lacking proof currently.  As I said, this could change, but I'm not seeing much support of them yet.

As for Leach's "crime" -- obviously it was bad enough for his own trainer to disobey his order to lock the kid in the electrical closet.  So draw your own conclusions about what that all means.  My point above is that James may not have crossed any lines, not that Leach is/isn't a saint.

And my point when this all came out was that there are 3 dbags in this: Leach, Craig James, and Adam James. Hell, I'll even throw in the Tech administration, they look like a bunch of sackless clowns as well. Never said Craig James is to blame for this, I"m not sure how you could derive that from anything I've said about this situation.

I've been called a LOT of things...    01.16.10 at 1:06 am ET
By Curt Schilling

But never, and I mean never, could anyone ever make the mistake of calling me a Yankee fan. Well, check that, if you didn't know what the hell is going on in your own state maybe you could....

Now its clear to me that she mispoke and really wasn't paying attention to the question, but I really think she simply heard the name "Curt Schilling" and associated it with the word "republican" and then associated that with something else she probably thinks people hate, so she used the word "yankees".

Thats exactly the kind of amateur stuff she has been doing to dlip up her campaign the past few months.

Nah... she has no idea who he is. She tried to cover by saying he's not on the team anymore.  Even Gro knows about the bloody sock and 2004.  She makes no effort to understand the things that are important to her potential constituents.  Even John Kerry couldn't name ONE Red Sox in 2004.  It seems to be a comment theme among the political elite in Massachusetts

Wait a minute.....democrats in MA know their sports.  The man who's seat this belongs to gave a shout out to 'Mike Mcgwire & Sammy Suuusar' during the big home run chase a couple years ago.

Yeah but he was sober at the time and you know Teddy couldn't function sober.

Or drive sober on the Vineyard.....

Politcal comment alert:

I'm supporting a Dem buddy and just want smart people in office, but...

Every time Katrina Vanden Huevel gets on This Week and George Will goes toe to toe with her, it looks like a grown man beating on a semi retarded little child.  How did this woman ever get a position where she could possibly be considered enlightened (or even sniffing intellectual).  Sitting right beside KVH is Donna Brazile and she's got her act together, is respectful and thoughtful (from the "other sides" perspective, so to speak), but this woman deserves clownshoes.

Ok, now that I'm done, saw Sherlock Holmes.  Wasn't sure that I'd like it much, but actually thought it was good, notwithstanding some factual/historical issues.  I'd recommend it.

I'm getting the sense that the James', Leach and the TT administration (remember Byron Hanspard the three year student with the 0.0 gpa) are all a bunch of dbags and the sooner we stop paying attention the better.

Lastly, if Reggie Bush is going to play like yesterday, I'm putting money on NO winning it all.  That dood was running like a freight train.

Associated Press; Jersey Shore NJ: Reports are coming out of New York and Los Angeles that the one time MTV VJ and comedian Pauly Shore is the Jersey Shores, "The Situation." Those close to Shore claim that through plastic surgery and an intense work out program Pauly Shore is attempting a comeback at national fame through his casting as, "The Situation," in the MTV reality series, Jersey Shore. When asked for a comment via phone interview Shore only had this to say,"What better way to get laughs and regain my once prominent comedic career than playing the role of the one person everyone on earth hates more than Pauly Shore (myself).

*Alright no more, dlip promises  ;D

House money from here on out. Hell, it was house money getting INTO the playoffs. I'll give them a punchers chance against the Colts, but man, the Colts defense was FAST against the Ravens. J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets!

Jets played well against the Colts in their win in the 15th game -- even before the first team sat for the Colts.  Would the Jets have won that game if the first team stayed in?  I really think there was a 50/50 chance of it.  So I won't be shocked if the Jets beat the Colts this time.  Colts are still my guess, but I'd place a personal spread at about -8 or -9 and would consider putting down money if it's beyond that (I haven't looked yet, so let me know how off I am).

Disagree... they were down by more than a TD in Indy during the 3rd Quarter when the Colts pulled the starters.   Peyton Manning is just different.  Sorry boys, as much I like rooting for the Underdogs, no way the Colts lose this one.

SF's cousin livesin in Indianapolis and said he heard Manning is getting a divorce from his wife.   Any sleuths in here find out why?  She's a pretty nice looking piece of trim.

JT

If JT is up for the season,  he goes for a few long shots in the playoffs.  Quite often a couple of them hit.  I saw the Giants quit in week 15, and with nothing to play for would quit against the Vikings in week 16, so bet the Vikings.  Took the Jets against the Colts and Bengals twice.  Took the Ravens against NE.  By Sunday morning the SD betters had pushed the line to -8 and +320 for the Jets to win outright. JT thought the true line was more like -3.5, and thought +320 was worth a shot.

JT is going to see where the lines move during the week.

Sorry SF, but you are incorrect.  The score was 15-10, Casey Painter came in, got sacked/stripped for a TD and the Jets went for 2 to put them up 18-15.  Jets scored another FG and another TD with a successful 2-pt. conversion to make the final score 29-15.

The Colts did look pathetic with Painter in there though.  He was like a deer in the headlights.  Colts Offense did nothing with Manning on the bench.  I think the Jets run ends here, but I enjoy watching Ryan's brashness.
