So who is everyone rooting for in the Game in 11 days?

On one side you got Peyton Manning, who I love to watch because he's the greatest QB of our generation.  That throw to Whitey McGhee down the middle on Sunday against the Jets was PERFECT.  Also, for the Colts is Garcon.... who would be the 1st former D3'er to get a Super Bowl ring since London Fletcher did with St Louis.. 

Or do you root for a team with the history of the Saints... They had BAD teams, wore paper bags and had a Hurricane make people question whether or not they should even rebuild the city. 


SF has family in both cities so picking based on that is out...

Probably just hope for a great game and be glad Pittsburgh isn't anywhere near this game...

Maybe its me.....I watch the Super Bowl for the game itself.  I rarely can even remember the commercials.

All commercials are paid advertisements....I take them as that and look at them with a grain of salt.

This kid is a college football player.  He's not the pope.  He's not the president.  He's not a senator.  He's not a$$hole Pat Robertson.  He's not a movie star.  If he wants to fight political/religious views, he should give up sports and do that.  Until then, he needs to shut his f'ing mouth and try completing a pass at the Senior Bowl...actually...try getting  a snap first without fumbling.

Huh? So only elected officials, televangelists, or people who devote their entire life to fighting for a cause have a right to express an opinion publicly? And somehow movie stars make your list, but not athletes? Movie stars? Are you ishing me? Hey, you don't have to listen to him, but he most certainly has the right to say whatever the hell he wants, and if he finds someone with the money to  buy commercial time on the SuperBowl, good for him.

For the record, I'm not a fan of Tebow (although I think he's one of the best college QB's in history), but that has more to do with all of the hype around him and just getting sick of hearing about St. Tim. And I think that this commercial will do nothing but hurt his overall image and make him a divisive figure. But the kid certainly has conviction, and he's has the right to speak his mind, just as we have a right to get another beer while he's doing it. 

This was my point exactly.....I was honestly starting to question myself on this one.  You don't have to like what he has to say....change the f'in' channel or go grab a beer.....to b!tch about it seems rediculaus.

Cooper 6' 4" was an All State WR and heading for Ol' Miss, but a non football related spinal issue ended his career.  So the camera shots might be playing what-if all three made the NFL.

The Rev won't be able to watch the Super Bowl at all.  Armed Forces network will show it, but The Rev can't get that channel and even if he did, the game would be played during school hours on Monday (which is Sunday night US time).
