dlip made the best choice he has made in a while; watched the Ducks battle the Caps instead of that stupid **** going on on the other side of DC.

On another note boy it must be nice to bring multiple weapons into your place of buisness, challenge a colleague (teamate) to a ****ing duel, and then even after getting suspended for 50 of so games getting to collect your 80 million ****ing dollar contract. Not saying he does not deserve a second, third, or fourth chance (not Arenas fisrt issue) but just ****in saying... ???

'Nova is as good a college team as I've seen this year because of how hard they play.  I believe they are capable of shutting down John Wall and Cousins at UK.   Jay Wright is a fantastic coach..... yet he never seems to have any guys over 6'7" ---- why is that PBR?

I was impressed with their 18 point win over an NCAA Tournament team last night.

they have pena and yarou who are both fairly tall, and some recruits coming in next year that are taller. Jay has always run the 3 guard offense since the days of allen ray/randy foye/kyle lowry. This is the deepest nova team pbr has ever seen. They remind pbr of UNC a few years ago. they keep coming at you in waves and wear you down. maalik wayns is going to be a star. The team that really scares pbr is syracuse. they are very very good and playing really well right now and are good enough to challenge kansas and UK. funny thing is we all thought this would be a down year for 'nova because they are extremely young. Jay wright is a great coach who grew up around pbr and is one of the nicest most down to earth people you will ever meet. Plus his wife is smoking hot (a 'nova cheerleader from back in the day)

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) -- The father of injured Texas Tech receiver Adam James threatened to sue the university if it didn't investigate then-coach Mike Leach, according to a memo released Wednesday.

Texas Tech University System attorney Ronny Wall wrote in the Tuesday memo to the Texas attorney general that the threat came during a Dec. 20 exchange with James' father, ESPN sports analyst Craig James. The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal obtained a copy of the memo in response to an open records request.

The university fired Leach on Dec. 30, two days after suspending him amid allegations he mistreated Adam James, who was recovering from a concussion. The receiver says Leach twice ordered him to stand for hours while confined in a dark place during practice.

Leach denied the allegations, and responded to his firing with a lawsuit against the university, alleging libel, slander and breach of contract.

The Tech memo says James' father "indicated that litigation could ensue" if Tech didn't investigate Leach "for the improper treatment" of his son.

"The threat did not appear to be an idle threat as the parent expressed genuine concern for the health and well-being of his injured child, as well as other student-athletes," the memo continued.

James spokesman Scott McLaughlin issued a statement late Wednesday saying James never threatened to sue Texas Tech.
"Further, Texas Tech initiated its investigation of its own accord," he said.

Man, I can't wait for this trial. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't let them settle this out of court.

The RB's Coach from SF's Senior Season at TMore is now the #2 Strength Coach at Texas Tech.... not only is he hoping to stay on with Tuberville but probably trying to steer clear of being subpoenaed.

Dude was a great High School RB in Upstate NY so I'll mention his name... Orlando Smith,  joined TTech in June so not sure what is going to happen with him.

The latest 'Horndog High' scandal

New shenanigans have come to light at James Madison High School, where two teachers were recently caught naked in a classroom and another was punished for getting too close to a student.

The latest scandal involves Madison High gym teacher Lisa Guttilla, 37, who was arrested Friday for feeling up a 14-year-old girl, police sources said.

The student attended private Poly Prep Country Day School, where Guttilla was a part-time volleyball coach.

The abuse came to light when the teen's mother started asking questions about a hickey on her neck - and she confessed to sexy sessions with Guttilla between Jan. 4 and 9.

A complaint filed in Brooklyn Criminal Court says the teacher did "touch, grab, squeeze and kiss the [girl] about the breast and buttock."

Guttilla was charged with sexual abuse and child endangerment and sent to the "rubber room" - a reassignment center for teachers under investigation.

"She is a teacher at Madison, and she has been reassigned," said Education Department spokeswoman Margie Feinberg.

The allegations against Guttilla are the latest to rock the Midwood high school where she worked.

In December, Madison foreign-language teachers Alini Brito and Cindy Mauro were found undressed in an empty classroom and sent to the rubber room.

Social studies teacher Allison Musacchio is under investigation for having an inappropriate relationship with a male Madison student.

And a teacher has accused Assistant Principal Michael Edelman of sexual harassment.
