They should take a left turn at Rt. 79 and wrestle a real college wrestling progam at IC.

This is an ESPN "Instant Classic":

Lastest BS article re Vikes and the Levels of Losing

Thanks for the heads up, I hadn't seen that yet. Nobody better then Simmons.

This column explains why I wouldn't let my kids be Jet's fans, just couldn't do that as a parent. Funny thing is, my father is a Giants fan, and always told me not to be a Jet's fan. And yes, he loves to remind me of this.

Doid,
Just think, if you grew up a couple miles farther East, you would have been in CT.  If you grew up in CT, we could have accepted you as a Patriots fan.

Waccabuc is so close to CT.........yet so far.

Quiet as a mother****er...hmmm has not been an enjoyable couple weeks as a Ranger fan. Hoping they can remove their heads from their asses soon before they play themselves right out of the Eastern conference playoff picture.

Throw Union Hockey and the Knicks into that boat (and yes, they sucked me into thinking that they might sneak into the 8th spot, fool that I am (insert Mr. T reference).

On another note, some talk on the web and ESPN about how moving the Pro Bowl to the week before the Super Bowl would help. Tuned in tonight, realized that I couldn't remember the last time I actually watched the Pro Bowl, looked like a cool scene, until the first snap, when I realized WHY I had stopped watching the Pro Bowl. What a joke. Actually saw a DTackle knock over a Guard, and then stop mid play to help him up. The next play saw a cornerback come up on a swing pass and just keep running upfield past the blocker. I don't blame them, but then just don't play the game. If they're going to do anything, do a skill competition or something, or a 7 on 7 game with skill players, or hell, resurrect The Superstars (tell me you all didn't watch that back in the day). But that game was pathetic. At least in hockey and hoops you can somewhat get away without hitting, football just doesn't work. Won't ever watch that game again (to be honest, only watch the MLB All Star game).

I don't give a dlip if I grew up in Foxboro, I wouldn't root for the motherdlippen Patriots. And you know not to ask about the Red Sox.

The Carousel Capital, home of Rod Serling and Jonny Hart, Binghamton!  Not a lot of love left for that area other than my parents, whom are still there.  There's just not a lot to like.  I'm trying to convince my mother to move, though not necessarily closer to me.  She's got a house worth maybe $90k-$100k and pays $3,600/yr in RE taxes, has to buy these ridiculous city sponsored garbage bags that are expensive and the local utilities are really high.  It's all a function of a declining population (in the late 80's when we moved to Broome Co., Binghamton had like 60k+ in population, it's now at or below 45k), so the remaining residents are bearing a greater burden per capita since the budget hasn't exactly gone down over that period and economic growth has declined.  Basically, it's a raw deal for older, childless citizens to live in an area like that.  Hell, my in-laws own a home in Cobb Co, GA worth 10x her house and they pay $4,500 in taxes and are in the #2 school district in the state (Pope).

Except that the Pro Bowl has given us the greatest hit ever ---- Sean Taylor (RIP) absolutely destroying the AFC Punter.  Watched it about 17 times in a row since I had it DVR'ed.
