I believe we would call that an oxymoron.

Thanks...I think D3 football is competitive yet still lets the kids be regular college students.  D1AA football is a lot more all consuming now than it was when I played.  Should be fun to watch.

****in shame if you ask dlip. He understands that many of these young men come from some pretty rough backgrounds and that they grow up surrounded by poor role models, but man. Someone like this with so much potential and having already had some success on the FB field just not thinking and making poor choices. At some point one must stop that ****in **** and break the pattern. ****in jerk, hopefully he can get his **** together and learn to keep his hands off ****in women.

amazing thing was at the end of the article all the other players listed for committing some kind of crime/problem. this article didnt even list some of the other players who have been arrested for stealing computers/break ins/etc! its like they are running a 1/2 way house w/ no night time guards...

Celtics fans... Nate Robinson? You sonsofbishes. You stole the only player that reminds me of the Knicks teams of the 90's. I don't watch the Knicks much but I know a few things. 1) They are God Awful, B.) Nate's good for a 25 point game every now and again, and 5.) He wins the (mostly irrelevant, but that's NHNT) slam dunk contest every year.

Who is this Eddie House fella? Wicked good, or not so much?

Congrats Huge.   F&M's a great school.

Now, since you've shared so much, let us know where your kid applied and where he got accepted (it isn't like everything hasn't been public to this point anyway).  Inquiring minds want to know.

SF,

I'm going to shoot you a PM in the next few days.  Flying out to Daytong Wed. morning.  Looking at a Cavs-Magic game on the 11th.  I know it's 3.5hrs, but a late season big game on King LeBron's home court?   My alternative is a potentially snowing Reds/Cubs early season game.

Once F&M accepted him, he had to withdraw all of his applications before the other schools decided whether or not to accept him.

the 'skins hog russ grimm recently elected to the HOF is definetly old school!!

Then in early February, when Grimm was elected to the Hall of Fame, his former teammate Joe Jacoby brought the story closer to the earth.

"Russ's lunch didn't stay down on him when we got to practice. You know what I mean? He just chucked up a hot dog," Jacoby told Wise. "One of our ballboys, we called him 'Booger,' just looked at it and said, 'Ooooh, that's gross.' Russ looked at him and said, 'You think that's gross, watch this.' He blew the dirt off the piece of dog on the ground, picked it up and ate it. True story."

Patience grasshopper.  Cap room for Labron and Wade. Or at least one of them.

Ah Caddyshack:

MJT: You can recite every word of [fill in the last movie on TV: Caddyshack, Animal House, Stripes, Godfather I,II, Goodfellas], but can't remember a four item grocery list.

JT: That's how JT rolls.  8-)

The most emotional he got was when he was defending Elin. Otherwise, I call faker.
