People are always more attracted to human train wrecks than to good people.  Merlin Olsen was a simple and good man...not exciting enough to stay popular in our sin-saturated and obsessed culture.  Can I get an "amen" from Rev. Lyco80?

KS is not a Rev but will give you the Amen, plus Merlin was one of the best KS ever watched play the game.

merlin olsen was 1 strong dood....before the days of heavy weightlifting that guy would just pick olinemen up and throw them to the side like rag dolls. have seen some nfl films on him and the guy was a monster on the field and a gentlemen off it. best thing every seen said about him was by all his teammates that said he never took 1 play off his entire career.

btw just a 'ish load of rain coming up to 6 inches...pbr's mode of transportation over the weekend and all prep'd for the floods....

Yeah dlip was ****ing pissed with this loss but still thinks Cuse will get a #1 seed. Honestly dlip would like to see them lower only because he doesn't think they will be able to handle the late round pressure that comes with this #1. All dlip knows is that his brackets come to fruition as long as that mother****ing piece of **** lucky ass overrated clown ****ing Duke losses. dlip is a HUGE ****ING  Virginia fan starting today at 12 and ending at around 2.

Nice overview of Olsen's career, and some comments as to what a great man he was. 

As to train wrecks, Michael Jackson was a train wreck, but at least he was popular, so I understand the coverage. Cory Haim? WTD (What the Dlip) did he ever do?

they will get it by default, but after losing 2 straight, they will sit around for 8 days (assuming they play next fri) and surely wallow in self-doubt along with maybe losing Onauaku(sp?).....they are in trouble.

82's prediction....they will be trailing at the half against a 16 seed next week and will make some nobody, third rate team's fans very excited at the half.
