This is just too funny.

That is funny.  You would think the Tow companies working for the city would be hooked up to the city system or even the registry to know which vehicles belong to emergency personell.

The tow quota system penalizes drivers from not hooking up enough cars.  If a guy isn't hooking up enough cars, he gets sent to the graveyard shift.  I've seen legally parked cars get hooked.  These tow truck drivers don't care, its all CYA.

JU used to deliver Boston Heralds when he got out of college.  For every paper that was late, I was docked $2 pay.  For every customer that complained the paper was not close to the walkway (in the bushes), I was docked 50 cents.  And for every paper that got wet, I was docked $1 for each complaint.

These towtruck drivers should have the same.  For every detective car towed, they should get $50 docked, etc, etc.

This is my 1000th post.

Congrats Rev.  Here's some karma kung pao for you.  BTW Bart escaped with a narrow 6-5 win over Bing today.  So far 2-2 on the season.  Looks like a mostly FR-SO team talent wise.

Bart better figure out quick what to do about Lax, not only are they not competing with the elite, but they're falling behind the Fairfield and Siena's of the world, which is disappointing given their great lax history. Congrats as well, Rev, +K

Correct me if Im wrong, but Hobart Lax doesn't really set them up for a national championship program.  No scholarships kills them, as does the fact that lacrosse has expanded nationally at the youth level.  20 years ago, 40% of d1 lax players probably came from upstae NY.  Now its probably less than 5%.

Pep has heard thru the grapevine that Alfred and RPI will meet on the gridiron in 2010. While Pep doesn't have it first hand, Pep believes the Saxons will visit RPI's new stadium for their Homecoming game 2010, with a return engagement at Merrill Field in 2011. Pep is excited to bring the band to RPI's new digs.

RPI scheduling a tough OOC opponent???WTF??? dlip thinks pep will like the stadium though, top ****ing notch without a doubt. Who knows pep may even get to witness an appearence by the The great almighty RPI president and her ****ing secret service entourage which makes the Obama's look like a joke. dlip is convinced she must be the second coming.

Don't nobody say nothing bad about Ms. Jackson...

so she says...as she throws 1/2 eaten wings down on the masses from her presidential suite in RPI's taj mahal new stadium...

QuoteEvery year this guy from the Boston Globe (Derrick Jackson) writes an article on how horrible the NCAA is because none of the 64 d1 basketball teams graduate any players.

**** the NCAA dlip has come to not expect anything regarding "morals" from them. They give a **** about one thing and ont thing only $$$$$$$. dlip blames the schools themselves for holding students to the academic standard of ****ing nats.

I agree with some of your points (especially the scholarships), maybe I'm just nostalgic for the days when DIII Hobart could every once in a while give the big boys a run for their money. Now they are mired in 8-8, 7-9, 8-7 record land. As much as I don't like Hobart football, when I was in High School and College, Hobart Lax meant something. Now it's fighting to beat the Binghamton. Just hoping, that's all.

Could a fellow Jet's fan (or anyone, for that matter) explain to me why the Jet's want LT? LT 5 years ago I get, LT now? Not so much. Unless we're looking for a 3rd and 1 back who can't get the 1...

Doid,
At least you're not a Browns fan.  Would you rather have Brady Quinn attempt to continue to grow at QB or have the old, inept Jake Delhomme inserted??

Brady Quinn is no longer an option.  Traded to Denver today.  Quinn gone, Anderson gone, Seneca Wallace and Delhomme added.  I don't like any of those options.

I think Jake and/or other veteran QBs is the only option for teams like the Browns.  Unless you can get a sure #1 pick at QB, you can't waste any time on guys like Quinn, J. Russell, etc.

I think Quinn could have matured into something......You already know what you have in Delhomme and that 'aint good.  Brady Quinn for Peyton Hillis and a 6th Rounder seems silly to me, but it is the Browns.

Back from sunny, warm Fort Lauderdale FL... that was needed.  Mixed a little work with pleasure in...

*is anyone else in LD's NCAA Pool?   I'm doing my picks now... I mailed him 1,000 pennies to take care of the fee
*Cleveland Browns have no QB ---- Seneca Wallace and Jack Delhomme??  But they'll be better than last year.  Holmgren in Cleveland scares this Bengals fan
*Bravo, Chip Kelly... the guy has responded well to two very highly public embarrassments to the program.  And wouldn't you know it?  He got his start at small school football in the Northeast.  Kinda makes sense to SF.

The brackets are in. Checks in the mail LD, I'm too cheap to use paypal!. Didn't put much thought into it... played mostly favorites which worked last year but this year appears to have more contenders (and pretenders). Kansas seems to be the only sure thing. One of my brackets has Siena winning two games... don't let me down Saints!

U89... that bracket name won't help ya!

PBR...

pbr's final four...   kansas/ksu/baylor/wvu w/ kansas/baylor in the final and kansas winning it all. wanted to have wvu in the final but just couldnt pull the trigger. think they might trip up along the way somewhere
