Looks really fishy to dlip. dlip's fourth graders have come up with more ****ing original and believeable tales than looking for a wallet six months after the last game.  ???

just remember, sometimes with the Filipinas you get not only her family but her village too.

This is exactly what The Rev is afraid of.  The Rev doesn't want to feed a village, just have his own little mochalatte clan.

Filipino families tend to be close in the immediate family, but sometimes they have so many fringe cousins, aunts, and uncles that try to ride the American gravy train back in the Philippines.  Many do try to glom onto the ready cash and stop working or looking for work.

There's nothing wrong with helping immediate family, but enabling moochers brings out even more moochers.  Listen to how your gal talks about family. If your gal has or is willing to cut people off, she might be a keeper. MJT doesn't speak kindly of quite a few.  We used to give money to her maternal grandmother, and found out that the grandmother's sons and daughters would just take the money. When the grandmother died, it cut off a long line of moochers.

Healthcare is one issue as it is cash and carry in the Philippines, so we have chipped in with other family members for surgery and stuff.  It tends to be inexpensive relatively speaking

I have been hiring the technically educated and the good writers (family and friends) for some of my developing websites.  I figure it better to give them a job, then a handout.  Win-win.  They get high pay, and I get cheap, educated, English speaking labor, for a fraction of what it would cost in the US.

Kind of the wrong sport and wrong league here, but Umass Boston making the d3 World Series is an interesting story.

I see Michigan football is playing Umass next year.  Why do teams like Michigan risk playing top 1-AA teams?  Didn't they learn from App. State a few years back?  I mean sure, Michigan should win this game by 28 points, but why risk it?

I've been wondering why our welfare system doesn't work the same way.  It's great that as a society we can provide for the downtrodden, but can't they at least spend a few hours a day picking up trash or washing windows?
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

dont count on it...richrod is at the controls and nosediving that program right into the ground at mach 1....would not surprise me in the least if umass keeps this very close or eeks out a win. they have no one back on defense and several more players have transfered out.
