American Idol has kind of lost it for me.  I also need better surround sound for my TV I think.  But I heard clips of the winner on the radio and they sounded kind of horrible.

But I have to admit that one of my favorite shows is The Real Housewives of New York City.   Pure Genius.

I disagree that he's horrible.  I 100% think the U2 choice is crap.  They tried to sabotage him, and now he is stuck with that stupid song.  What is it, 4 years old anyway?  (OK, I just checked and it came out in 2000 but regardless-They might as well covered a friggin Coldplay song)  It's stoopid.  Typically the winner gets screwed anyway, because the album is too produced.  Nowadays, people want to hear more raw material, singer/songwriter type of stuff.  The first album will sell because of the hype, but most likely it will suck unfortunately.  Give him a few years, and with his own sound and record and I bet you'll change your thoughts.

Yea I just watched a couple of his videos.  The U2 song actually wasn't that bad given the fact he was all fired up and excited from just winning.  I'm sure his energy level had a lot to do with how that song was going to be performed.

On the other hand it just seems like he can miss a lot of those high notes.
