The Knicks just hired Isiah Thomas again.

The Knicks just hired Isiah Thomas again.

I had to type that twice so I believed it. The only logical conclusions are that:

* Jim Dolan is the devil (owning Cablevision probably should have warned me of that)
* Isiah has pictures of Jim Dolan blowing a goat.

Unbelievable!

Well, at least my respect for Donnie Walsh has grown. But seriously, I've been a Knicks fan all my life, and have stood by them through some bad times (especially recently), but if they hire Isiah, I'm done being a fan until Dolan sells the team. Besides the fact that Isiah has killed everything he's touched (don't forget he was the commissioner of the CBA), this is about Dolan saying "F You" to every fan, and making the Knicks even more of a joke than it's been. I'll give Lebron credit, he made the right decision not coming to work for this asshat.

This would be like the Jet's hiring Rich Kotite back, but at least he wasn't a pompous, ass kissing, narcissistic ahole.

Just got back from a Sales Meeting, so this is my first time to post in a while but.....

How great was Emmitt Smith's HOF acceptance???  I hate the Cowboy's & was not a fan of Smith until I saw this........I'm now a fan of Emmitt.....total class act!!!!!!

I'm with you on emmitt's speech.  I didn't like the guy one bit but his speech was great and I gained a lot of respect for him.  Rice's speech was ok but seemed reallll choppy.

Finally back online after a week at the beyatch in FL...working remotely this week in FL...a nice respite from CA.

Congrats to FR on his nod to be a D3 T25 voter.  Well deserved.

Without obfusicating further, TGP thinks the discussion of the past week proves both PC and the LL fans have solid arguments - and to PAs point - Hobart will be in the mix (and has a solid play-off track record to boot - even MUC fans gave us some credit for our 2nd round game a couple of seasons back).

Re 9/25 - UofR / Union is of great interest to the LL but its also a return of the SJF / Hobart series which will have implications in the East Region one way or another.  TGP will be at that game and will let PA know if it's on Time Warner (otherwise will try and procure a game tape from Cragg).

Interesting comments from Gordo re the MAC - especially with DVC getting a #10 pre-season ranking with a brand new QB....

Otherwise, we are only a few more weeks out from kick off.  TGP is tentatively planning on seeing #4 Linfield take on CLU out in T.O. come 9/11.

I think Emmitt does a lot of motivational speaking... more so than Rice.  The polish was evident.  I liked all the speeches.  I also thought Floyd Little knocked it out of the park Saturday night.  Great stuff.

This guy is about the same age as KS.  KS could see this happening, people can only take so much before they snap, at least he didn't hurt anyone.  It is getting to be a very angry world out there.

Man....Laurence Fishburne could keep his son, Cuba Gooding Jr. safe in 'Boyz in the Hood', but can't keep his daughter from playing a game of 'Hide the Salami' for public viewing.........
