Well, at least my respect for Donnie Walsh has grown. But seriously, I've been a Knicks fan all my life, and have stood by them through some bad times (especially recently), but if they hire Isiah, I'm done being a fan until Dolan sells the team. Besides the fact that Isiah has killed everything he's touched (don't forget he was the commissioner of the CBA), this is about Dolan saying "F You" to every fan, and making the Knicks even more of a joke than it's been. I'll give Lebron credit, he made the right decision not coming to work for this asshat.

This would be like the Jet's hiring Rich Kotite back, but at least he wasn't a pompous, ass kissing, narcissistic ahole.

You may all relax now - Isiah turned down the offer AND the NBA nixed (KNICKed?) it.

But I have to admit - compared to the Knicks, the Clippers almost look smart. :P

Nope, just a temporary setback in the insanity that is James Dolan's Knicks. He'll find a way to bump Donnie Walsh and hire Isiah. Personally, I hope that it is after Isaih ruins FIU's hoops program, so that he can add yet another organization to the list of those that he has ruined.

Let me tell ya'll something... if you get a chance to go to Canton for Hall of Fame Weekend (or better yet, the whole week - though I've not done that), DO IT. If you love football at all, DO IT. If you have a favorite player being inducted, even better. I was there in '06 for Aikman's and now for Emmitt's. It's an amazing experience. All that football history in one spot. The whole thing gives me goosebumps.

Try to see the Hall itself at a different time - it's crazy crowded during HOF festivities. It's hard to see everything in there on an off day, I can only imagine with all the people there for the inductions. Heck, MaGrove is trying to convince TheGrove and FutureMr.TheGrove to have their wedding there (yes, you can do that... $60/person, which includes food and booze).

SF would just wanna "christen" the 50 yard line of the stadium there in Canton, much like what was done by (mostly other) people at Thomas More.  Would imagine the security is a little bit better in Canton, though.

I skipped any validity of this when I saw Swarthmore at 7 and Smith College at 35(unless you love man-hating lesbians).

The methodology of that survey is bogus (e.g., taking people from "Who's who" which is a subscription service, i.e., you pay to be included) as are most of these "popularity" contests....

Yea I can understand Swathmore at #7 (they are usually high in these rankings), but is Mt. Holyoke really a better school than Johns Hopkins?

Was riding the light rail in jersey city to work today and saw the St Peters Prep team managers mixing gatorade and getting tables set up for taping and someplayers in shorts and jerseys out starting to stretch and get taped.

Good signs, football is coming.

Ahh the jersey city lightrail..nothing like the pungent smell of urine to start your day off!

Actually the trains are clean, now the elevator at the station near KS house, that smells like an outhouse in summer.  And the PATH, what a fragrant bouqet.

LD had about 5-6 from 8-1 on the golf course...then came back to work...and now after a quick nap, will add a one before those 5-6...

Good morrow gentlemen...as well to the dastardly wench.  We shall drinketh the weekend til Monday hath returned.

I take that elevator too and live near there too - its disgusting.  I will vouch the trains are clean but IMO the majority of them smell like piss!
