Watching RPI-Utica....RPI Defense looks pretty good once again.  The offense on the other hand...they look like HS kids who have never been coached running around like chickens with their heads cut off.  Hermann looks disturbingly uncomfortable back there.  If the D doesn't stay tough, it could be a long day.  Although Utica's O looks like doo doo.

That intercepted pass by Hermann was fugly.  They've gotta do something to get his vision and comfort built up this season -- and quickly.

What happened to Herman? He had moxie last year.... MOXIE DAMMIT!!

Lew, Gro, RPI guys et al:

I listened to the second half of that game on the way home from my inlaws. I didn't hear if UC was crap in the first half, heard they struggled for the first quarter or so. I know in the second half that Hermann was AWFUL. Couldn't get anywhere. Took a couple of big sacks when RPI was still only down by a touchdown or two.

Bottom line is Utica is decent this year, and RPI is not very good at all.  I'm routing for Utica a bit.  I like the high octane Offense.  Hopefully they can keep it up.

Another rough weekend for the LL, but will give credit where it's due.  Utica seems like they can make some noise in a very stacked E6...

Larries played Alfred tough, looking like Kearney is going to be the QB up in Canton going forward....

MMA got crushed - irrespective of final score by SUNY Maritime (see ~340 rushing yards to 52)...

WPI had cake walk with Becker...wonder if the Bizarroneers can clip RPI next week?

Rocho hung in for a while but ultimately SJFC had too much offense - CAN'T WAIT  - to see the Cards and Statesmen line up next Saturday in Geneva under the lights!

Frank, Eric and I will recap yesterday's LL games as well as speak with SJFC Head Coach Paul Vosburgh and Hobart AD Mike Hanna regarding next Saturday's big showdown between the Cardinals and Statesmen.  That and player interviews, so please tune into www.inthehuddlle.com or blogtalkradio.com/ith at 7:30 PM ET!

Rochester looked good for a while, but Fisher's adjustments were the difference in the 2nd half. I agree that next weekends game between Fisher and Hobart will be a lot of fun. Hobart and Fisher have both looked good, under the lights, with two teams toward the top of the region.

I can not wait.
GO FISHER!!!

theoriginalupstate

Yeah as soon as Onyiurka (spelling) went out with a dislocated elbow the Fisher D went zone and just defended the pass for a while.  It ultimately didn't work as UR dinked and dunked the middle of the zones to move the ball.  As soon as SJF started bringing heat they shut down the UR pass game...

I don't know the length of time he'll be out but a dislocated elbow doesn't sound like fun...

it was stephen smith vs. bradshaw for who got the win...pbr got worried when brandon jacobs was all pizzed off and fired his helmet 10 rows up into the stands during the game w/ coughlin screaming at him...figured bradshaw would get all the work/yardage and pbr was sunk

EDIT: intentional or not jacobs is truly lucky he didnt kill someone, could u imagine if he hit a little kid in the head w/ his helmet

This Union schedule sucks, It's late September and it feels like the season hasn't even started. They start a week later than many other teams to begin with, and then a bye after the first game? I'm sure things just didn't fall into place, but please don't let this happen next year.

Jacobs is acting like an azz, just shut up and earn your position back (if you can).

Across 3 FFLeagues, LD is 5-1 so far this year.  The only loss was a manhandling by Regulator who had CJ, Ocho and Roddy White go off in week 1, followed by a stunning 57 point performance in week 2 heading into MNF.  I'll take my odds this year.  I am also starting the finals this week in Fantasy baseball.  It took a few years, but it appears LD may be becoming the new Fantasy Guru.
