I guess I'm the only a$$hole (oh well, wouldn't be the first time  :P)  here that thinks that it was his own decisions that got him into the problems he has and that doesn't excuse his behaviors.

I agree with you man.  Blame it on alcohol, drugs, whatever you want, but the dude is a racist and a psycho.  I grew out of that stage of getting too drunk and saying and doing things that I shouldn't when I was like 25.  You would think after the first incident he might try and monitor himself a LITTLE.  Especially in this day and age with phones, cameras, TMZ etc.

OJ is probably a 'good guy' too...MOST of the time.  Just don't piss him off.

Oh, I'm not saying that he didn't make his own very bad decisions and I'm not excusing his behavior. I'm only suggesting that he is not a hypocrite.

Edit: the fact he made these decisions is really what makes it so tragic. had he made the right choices as he had earlier life everyone on this board would be talking about how he is their favorite actor and director.

I'd even go so far to say that there is a reason that all of this happened to him after making "The Passion of the Christ," and that is precisely to have his headlong plunge toward the abyss discredit that film and the subject of the film.  And since it is nearly the Sacred Triduum, it s a film very worth seeing. I have many friends who, although they have no love for Jesus, the Church, or Mel, admit that it is one of the most powerful movies they have ever seen. (Note: After Mel's fall, I've never heard anyone say, "Yeah, man, Mel Gibson is a racist butthole. The Scottish are bullsh!t, Braveheart sucks!" It is always and only The Passion that gets attacked. OK, sometimes people trash Apocalypto--which was also awesome.)

I just deleted a barn-burner about what real hypocrisy is, but i figured it would go better on the politics board or better left unsaid. I will however share that I am often a hypocrite and always a coward. And so, being one, I recognize that Mel Gibson is not. As for Andy Dick, I know nothing about him.
I'll give the Division 3 movie a try. If it's funny, great. If not, I'll just shut off the DVD.

I wish I had hair like that. I would be so bada$$. The problem is that I'd just end up looking like Greg Brady in the last couple seasons of the Brady Bunch. Not so bada$$ after all.

I'm with you PG.  Although I think he has some mental health issues which gives him some explaination for his actions.

His Dad had some nutty beliefs.  Some of that probably rubbed off him.

If dlip could grow a fro like that he would in a second. Unfortunately when dlip's hair gets longer it only produces grease and olive oil!

Hobart signs Fairfield Warde's RB/SS Alex Delany

what did they sign him to?  Dorm deposit fee?

Yeah something like that.  Why don't you put your shoes on and walk back over to the OAC board.

I gave +1 to both. It was well done.
