During The Rev's late afternoon nap, I dreamt that Hobart beat Mount Union and for NCAA championship.

Just a dream, but I feel now that the possibility exists.

I think a few of the Statesmen are dreaming along with you Rev

Nice pictures on ESPN College Game Day about 15 minutes ago of Cortaca Jug, Shoes and Hobart v. Rochester games from the past. The Hobart pictures were from 2008 "mud bowl" where we went on to the NCAA tourney after beating Rochester 10-7 for the LL Title on a last minute field goal.

17 minutes before kickoff and RPI just "literally" pulling into the Union College campus. Dlip has never seen anything like this before.

Maybe they warmed up somewhere else?  Not always a dumb thing to do if you know the territory?

Is a bit strange though.

Maybe they just slept in today since Union sucks so bad.

Congrats to RPI on winning back the Shoes. A turnover filled game for both teams but very exciting. Both teams played their hearts out.

The Rev's 2013 wrap up.

I jumped on the USMMA bandwagon and I am still shameless about it. I hope they do well next season.

St Lawrence had a great season and I hope they can remain competitive.

As an arch-rival, I'm bummed out by RPI and Union not striking on all cylinders. These are historically good teams that give me ulcers. While I'm glad my blood pressure was better than usual this season, I kind of kiss the feeling of going to bed nervous and waking up to check the score not knowing what the result would be. This season, I went to bed without a worry and didn't need to furtively check stats and scores throughout the night. I say this as your friend: I want to see you recover and play us hard again.

Rochester: Dean Kennedy is a great QB.

Honestly I don't know what to say about WPI and Springfield. They're not really on my radar.

I'd like to see Hobart add a tenth game. I'd like to see Dickinson replaced. No offense to the Red Devils. I'd like Wesley and Johns Hopkins added as OOC games.

That's all for now.

One of us is going to have to beat JCU his time around.  I still vaguely recall 2002.  They hardly dominated the east, but did win that bracket and we had to hear about it for nearly a decade by some people who conflate limited data points with broader trends or realities.

That's when you put your AA guard in the backfield gave him the ball and got stuffed or fumbled the ball on the 1 right?
