I doubt that you know the whole story, sir, and I would suggest you stop.

I believe I saw Hobart's game notes Friday morning, so I'm not sure what you were missing and I would suggest you stop your attacks on this individual.

This is what a neutral webmaster sounds like, and he tried to do his homework.

And yes, he also tries to entertain.  ???

I get that you have your complaints about this person, too, but enough is enough. Officially stating so, under the Terms of Service, section 1. I doubt either of us has the full story but that's a good reason to let it go.

Excuse me?  That was an attempt at barbed humor, and I don't think publicizing my private conversations concerning such issues is appropriate here.  I have a fine working relationship with said individual, and I know their pros and cons.

Pat Coleman

I didn't get barbed humor from that but I'll take your word at face value. Wouldn't be the first time humor has been missed online.  ???

WOW......glad to see "Frank" can still be "Frank" on occasion.  Just when we thought that might change.   8-)

ITH radio

Here's our season finale.  Posted below is our 2013 "LL Top 10" which we covered in the final minutes of the show.  Otherwise had a good chat with Ted Baker re the Hobart-Fisher game, scheduling, playoff and Stagg Bowl predictions.

Thanks for listening and see you in 2014!

10.  LL starts off 16-5 in OOC games (think it was actually 15-6, but you get the drift)
9. RPI / Isernia era opens and ends with a win, 24-21 over Alfred and 31-28 over Union
8. UofR goes for two, twice (beats Thiel 28-27 and SC 36-35)
7. SC wins twice due to blocked PATs (over SLU 21-20 and NU 28-27)
6. Merchant Marine wins Secretaries Cup and opens 3-1, best start since 1997
5. Union's injury plagued season
4. WPI upsets UofR in Week 10
3. Hobart runs table for 2nd year in a row but light schedule and one dimensional offense catches up with them in Rd 2
2. SLU goes from 0-10 to 7-3, ends season on a high note, winning Hoff Cup 31-0 (even though they passed on the ECACs)
1. Government shutdown costs MMA three games and momentum from 3-1 start is lost

Hobart to play Curry and Endicott in 2014:

I guess a 10th game is a 10th game.  Also a chance for me to see Hobart live once or twice (I live 10 minutes from Curry College)

Zero challenges.  I honestly don't get it.

I guess they are taking a page out of RPI's old SOS playbook.  I wonder if Ithaca and Hobart ever had any discussion over game.

I know it's tough to separate the two lovebirds in that first game (Dickinson), but what's better than a nice 1 hour bus trip for IC and Hobart to get the season going?

The weirder part is that the Curry and Endicott games are both away in 2014?  I could guess that there might be some exposure in that zone to alumni or recruiting or something, but wouldn't you want one home, one away in each year to balance that?  Plus, they play in Worcester at WPI just a couple weeks later... Weird progression.

Don't over exert yourself Hobart.

F-ing joke.

Play someone.

And what the hell is up with Dickinson?

Every year they play them...Why?
The views expressed in the above post do not represent the views of St. John Fisher College, their athletic department, their coaching staff or their players. I am an over zealous antagonist that does not have any current connection to the institution I attended.

Dickinson and Hobart could be a mission and values type game. Or it could just be a long-standing contract. I briefly looked for a history between them, but couldn't dig one out on either school website at a glance.

It could also be a recruiting tendency. If you pull kids from central PA, it's nice to play a game near the hometown. This is something W&L tries to do by scheduling north, south and west from the school (F&M or other Centennial, Sewanee traditional and Centre traditional). The games aren't set up to make a monster SOS, though 2 of the three opponents have been good recently, it's just traditional and gives parents a "closer" type game for 2 of every 4 year cycle.

Not saying Hobart is doing this, but it could be a component. With a 9 game conference schedule, Centennial teams are hard to schedule so if you like the match up you don't really want to let the contracts lapse.
