Okay, I took last week off from predictions but i definitely (maybe) would've called the Kings Point win over Springfield. I'll get these in just before tonight's kickoff


Friday 7:00 PM USMMA @ WPI

Good matchup here with two decent teams with good defenses and probably the most evenly matched game of the week. Both schools could desperately use a conference win as they have been hard to come by in recent years for both squads. Kings point is riding high, but I like WPI at home coming off the bye week. The triple option is only good if you are physically dominant or you can catch a team off guard. With two weeks to prepare, I'll take WPI behind Grasis again, 20-16.

12:00 RPI @ Hobart

In what I see as this weeks GOTW, RPI heads to Geneva in a crucial matchup for their respective seasons. Each with 1 conference loss, the loser is (not mathematically) eliminated from contention. You know, if Hobart hadn't lost to Springfield, I think I would want Hobart to win here so we could have a 'better' league and league championship game with SLU. An RPI win could truly signify a changing of the guard. With a Hobart Loss, SLU would have to lose 2 of there last 4 to NOT win the championship. Anyway, Hobart is still the best team in the league but boy they have not played like it. RPI will be jacked up for this, and if Hobart can play fired up and not 'protect our identity' football they win this won. I still like Hobart at home here, 14-13.

12:00 Union @ Rochester

Will this be it? Will Union Finally win one? Call me crazy, but I say yes. Rochester will be a good team moving forward, but every team has a tough loss to kick start their future. Plus, if you called springfield over Hobart, this isn't much of an upset in comparison. Flip I'm pulling for you, Union wins 35-32.

1:30 St Lawrence @ Springfield

The Larries head down to Springfield, MA where the Pride will have a fundraising game (good cause to read up on) and a homecoming crowd. There is one thing that coach Raymond loves, and that's making crowds go silent. Springfield can still cause damage and play some inspired defense here at home, but like WPI, 2 weeks to prepare for the triple option will be too much to overcome. SLU wins 24-13.
