I personally won't be making the trip.  I'm a bigger SLU soccer fan than football, and I'm trying to make plans to head down to PA for the Sweet 16 matchup.  We have a very explosive running back.  Reminds me a lot of Darren Sproles.  He has the ability to really net a high YPC so we'll see.

Just saw that Mt Union won't be streaming the game Saturday whats up with the Purple man?

And the weakest areas of SLU are the O-line and running game. I would take Mt Union over UMASS at this point anyway.

They never stream any video unless the visiting team chooses. This is due to their t.v. contract that gets re-air on Sunday. Sucks for us😤, but great for the school $$$$💰💰💰

I believe it actually re-airs later in the day, not Sunday, but the point is the same.

So either either the away team pays or does it themselves? Don't mean to sound like a dumbass but not sure what you mean.

The visiting team has the option to provide and broadcast the game with their own equipment. Mount has a contract to broadcast their games (delayed) on television, which they receive money for.

No TV this week for Mount Union...

I would invite Saints fans to the pre-game brunch at the Campus center, a hundred yards north of the stadium.  It is a great spread and the Mount fans will be welcoming and cordial.
Also for football fanatics, the Pro Football Hall of Fame is just 20 minutes west of Alliance and worth the trip.

Mount also has a large tailgate following (South and west of Stadium) and I would bet that all Saints fans would be most welcome to stop and chat.
You will find Mount Union an extremely friendly place...except on the field after kickoff...lol

To all who are traveling, have a safe journey.

It's almost like Raiders fans have learned hospitality over the years, hosting four playoff games each season....or have they learned the art of fattening up the sacrificial lambs:-\

Very unfortunate matchup for the Saints by drawing the Purple Raiders. I remember Hobart making the trip  in 2008 after beating Lycoming in the first round. The Mount is a whole 'nuther level of football . I remember great athletic Raider players like Kmic who rushed for a bizzillion yards (we held him to 6.5 per rush!) and QB Miceli passing to Cecil Shorts (now NFL). It was 14-0 at the half and we played them tough scoring in the third making it 21-7, but it ended up 42-7. Even though we lost , it didn't feel like we got blown out because the team fought the Raiders on every play ...but eventually they just wear you down in the second half   .  I hope the Saints perform to their potential as I know a few of the Saint athletes will impress the Raiders(Simmon and Brown-Wallace for sure) and that tough Saints defense will need to play above their heads to stay in the game ..... the Raider defense looks awesome and will swarm to the ball looking for a shutout . If the Saints can score 2 TD's in the game and hold the Raiders to 5 TD's it will feel like a win. Good luck.

Also good luck to WPI and RPI in their ECAC games as these games will be viewed as measuring sticks for the Liberty League. At least we get some live streaming for the ECAC games....

I believe Chris Engel will be running a video feed from the SLU side for Saturday's game.

We lost a classy coach in the Liberty League, today... But his family gains him back after all of their sacrifices.  We'll miss you, Coach DeLong!

I nominated it within 15 seconds of it happening, so, hey, at least Union and RPI fans should be able to agree with SOMETHING.  ;)

Just being silly here. Funny, dlip knew within 15 seconds of it happening that it was going to be the play of the week.  :)
