It sure passes the eye test. Would love to know more information is anyone has it. Was Flanders trying to leave Yale? Seems like a pretty good position to me.

Wow, union may have some of the best coaches in the country now.  I've seen both Flanders and Martin at coaches clinics in NE the past few years, they are both highly respected national coaches.  Both with extensive knowledge of northeast recruiting as well.

I'm predicting 6 wins for Union this year.

OH NO....Union has recruited some really good coaches.......I hope Coach Cragg  can outwit these newcomers  ::)

Pretty cool stuff. Good to see a couple standout athletes like Simmon, Lanieri, and Nacewicz trying to follow in the steps of the to LL members in the NFL from last season.

Very impressive Simmon was invited to Rutgers Pro-Day, and I read Lanieri had top numbers for his group from the regional combine in Baltimore.

Good luck to all. Leondre Simmon is the real deal....hope he finds some real interest....as big a leap for him as it was for Ali Marpet....you never know

Hobart's been tweeting out their incoming class. Some pretty good prospects, especially this kid who looked like he was going to play at UNH:

Any word on other LL/E8 FYs?

Posted more re Hobart on blog if anyone's interested.

I saw all the tweets on the recruits when Drach sent them out. Looks like a pretty impressive class.... and hopefully the team will get some production out of a few of them next year....we need it to get the LL title back

So he is going to Hobart? That's great, kid seems like he will be excellent! Congrats to Hobart on landing this big time recruit.

With that said does anyone know why he changed his mind? Just curious 😀

Well if it is a situation like some previous Hobart studs, it is because he couldn't get a high enough SAT score for a D1 scholarship...

(jealousy because he looks LEGIT)

Looks like a very dangerous recruiting class for the skill positions. 3 qbs and a handful of receivers to add to a good young group. How is Hobart's outlook going forward in the trenches? Or is there no need to add a bunch of big boys this year.

Bart has about 15 OL on the roster, not including incoming FY.

Testani will probably be a captain other than O'Connell there will be a lot of competition to see who ends up starting in 3 spots.

Doesn't have the fireworks like the Union hires, but sometimes the best move is no move at all. I believe it's the right move, especially to keep things on the right track for now. If it was not Puckhaber, you are looking at an entire new coaching staff which would be terrible to an incredibly talented upcoming senior class. If they can get decent quarterback play, and if sweeney doesn't take over each and every game for hobart, SLU will be the favorite again returning 18/22 starters.
