I am hoping the D3football.com forecast is wrong and the committee goes for a one loss team , leaving 2 loss Fisher out(despite win over RRO Olivet),  and then, SLU SOS slight edge over Frostburg gets them in...it is possible...would like to see 2 in from LL

If it's St. Lawrence vs UWP for the last pool C it's probably going to UWP. The deciding factor for Fisher was the win vs a RRO and a SOS advantage. I don't think either of those advantages exist with STL and FSU over UWP...

This makes sense to me....the WIAC is serious football and UWP probably deserves a spot, would , of course prefer a team from the East no matter the selection.

Congratulations to the LL for getting 2 teams in the top 25 in today's poll.....I think we should move up in conference ratings past the MAC unless they rate us down for not having a full conference next year.....Now we need to find some team/teams to join the LL, or try to schedule whatever OOC games we can...certainly not optimal.....good thing Ithaca joined...looking forward to many games with the Bombers

I can totally see it going in UWPs direction too, yes they're 0-2 vs RR opponents but they were good losses and didn't get their doors blown off like Fisher just did...

Speaking of the top 25 - it's just flat out weird to see Mount Union ranked at #7.

A "down year" for the Mount, with plenty of youth that does not have the experience in the playoffs., but it is still Mount Union.....after this year I am sure the youth will get the experience to make them stronger.....but John Carroll certainly moved well on the last possession....playoffs will be interesting...

The Mount might not even get into the playoffs if they weren't, you know, Mount Union. Their resume is not good.

Statesmen draw Mount Union, ouch.  I know the feeling all too well.  That's what, 4 times in the last 10 years that Hobart and SLU have drawn Mount Union in the first round?  Although Hobart's passing attack is good enough where I think they could give the Purple Raiders' inexperienced secondary some trouble.

MUC coming to the Boz. You can bet Ali Marpet will be paying attention to this. Best of luck to the Statesmen who have the privilege of hosting D3's most decorated and successful program. dlip would love nothing more than a Pumpkinhead victory. Wishing Bart all the luck in the world!

If there's a year to beat MUC before the finals, it's this year. They look to be on the road for the majority (Hopefully only 1 week and out!)

Yes, this is the year you want to play Mount.   They're starting their 3rd or 4th freshman QB, can't remember, but this Mount team is crazy inexperienced.  The secondary is meh and gets the blame defensively, but the real problem is up front.  Dline is average for D3, very weak by Mount standards.

If they play well, the offense can be explosive, but the freshman QB is way too turnover prone for my liking.

The East Region should be thrilled with this draw.   3 legitimate chances to slay the dragon.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!
