It would be a shame if Hobart vs Shenandoah were cancelled so I'm adding my two cents for another possible solution. This would involve a third team, Endicott, which is scheduled to face Hobart on 9/22. If that game could be moved to 10/29, an open date for both Hobart and Endicott, then this week's Hobart/ Shenandoah game could be postponed to 9/22. Thank you 

Let's make it happen, call the AD's!!  I am sure that Hobart and Shenandoah coaching staffs could come to an agreement, not sure about Endicott....

I actually emailed my suggestion to the Hobart AD and he replied thanking me for my input. He said it was one of a few ideas on the table and may well be the best option.

I just saw on the ODAC board that Hampden Sydney College is now playing Friday night, but traveling to UNE.  Maybe the same option exists for Shanandoah-Hobart?  First away game for Bart at the Boz??

Do you have any confirmation of that? Both UNE and HSC schedules still list Saturday in Virginia, not only on this site but also on each team's football web page.

The UNE switcheroo seems a rumor until officially posted.

Now reports saying the storm will be moving further south so Shen may not see much wind and rain after all. I will say from experience here in FL, the media makes a big deal about these with projections and what not, and then the storm head in completely opposite direction of the model.

Not sure what news outlets you're watching, but the Wilmington, NC news has the shift 40 miles North and crashing through OBX.

Checked Windy.com and Winchester , VA looks fairly decent for  the Hobart --Shenandoah game....of course this is based on the current forecast and there is time to change. Anyone hear anything?
