Well when it comes to the ugliest campus (buildings anyway), Ithaca still tops Upstate campuses I would say.

I apologize to Elizabeth Blackwell, Rev. Instead of being so harsh with Jonny U , I thought it was appropriate to point out what Harvard students do to John Harvard's toe(https://talk.collegeconfidential.com/.../202066-what-they-do-to-john-harvards-foot.html). It is kind of insane that tourists rub his shiny copper shoe tip that was probably peed on the night before.  That said , if there is any peeing to do,  it is  William Smith students who have the ONLY right to do so, if they so chose. An interloper from the south of Cayuga Lake should be shot in the act. No further response from Jonny U is necessary, since the sincere and heartfelt apology is accepted, even on behalf of my personal portfolio manager, Abigail Johnson.

Yes I've heard Albany is ugly.  This list of the 50 ugliest college campuses (kind of a clickbait/BS link) has Ithaca at #47 and includes Clarkson, Albany, Skidmore, Stonybrook, Suny Buffalo North Campus, Suny Purchase, RIT, City College of NY, and CUNY Hunter, NYU on the list.

My folks, who are CCNY and Hunter grads oddly enough, always thought IC was an eyesore but I liked having each building look different. Couldn't get lost going to class on the first day of the semester, that was for sure!

Purchase is hideous. There's this big black cube building that looks like a Borg ship.
