We talked  a lot about Union's less demanding OOC schedule, Cortland looks to have taken the same approach.  It will be interesting to see how Cortland looks against Utica in their first conference game

Think you two can either just bury the hatchet, or message each other privately? The board doesn't have to be sunshine and puppy dogs, and some good-natured ribbing is fine. But it feels like you're getting a tad personal, and I'm not super into watching two people squabble about message board slights.

To ALL...I have taken Bombers advice and sent that PM. I do not want Mach to leave these boards. From here on I will not try to reign him in. I don't think the rest of you want that. The ball's in his court.

Update...He responded and we've come to a better understanding. I'll work on redefining my sense of humor. Thank you.

Mach comes from the OG LLPP with very few who still remember or wee around but these boards were like 1972 NYC East Village then vs 2019 Gramercy park now.  Gotta get the knives out.

Well, I hope that UfanBill rehabilitates his sense of humor and Mach emerges from the green Jell-O bowl to see the Engineers take on the mighty Anna Maria this weekend. I love D3 Football but I also like to be amused...I think we can do both

Bartman's record last week was 5-2 as the Saints had a great game and the Yellowjackets disappointed.  YTD is 15-5 . LL OOC year to date is 10-10 with a forecast of 14-12 after this weekend

SLU                 21(32)                   Mville               42 (22)        Mustang passing attack gallops away from Larries.....Great win by Larries

Rochester       28(21)                  Alfred State      20(27)          A dogfight for 2 programs needing a win......Yellow jackets will probably go winless

Buff State         7(22)                 Brockport          21(55)           The Bengals have a hard time finding the end zone...Bengals can't keep BPort out of the end zone

Hobart            35(20)                     Rowan              21(17)       Rowan is tough, but Staesmen prevail...Rowan is a great 0-3 team, Hobart makes 17 point comeback to go 3-0

Union             31(27)                      Springfield       28(17)        Dutchmen are shocked by real competition but hang on for a  win..Dutchmen have to play an entire game

Ithaca            35 (27)                     Alfred               17(9)           The Saxons are wondering where they have seen this QB before ..Ithaca gets win against a solid opponent

RPI                13(35)                      Utica                10(33)          A punch mouth defensive battle decided late..Where were the defenses?

WEEK 4 PREDICTIONS:

Buffalo State      7                                   Cortland              31        Dragons breath fire over the Bengals

SLU                    42                                 Hartwick             21        Saints start a streak

Hobart                28                                 Montclair St.    21            Statesmen go 4-0 and are battle tested for the LL season and Union next week

RPI                     42                                 Anna Maria          7         Union won by more

Ithaca                 45                                 SJF                     17       IC improves every week

Alfred                  41                                 Rochester            7        Saxons roll

The banter was great back then and it was all in fun. Nobody got bent out of shape. We even had car bombs together at the Shoes game. 'gro, lewdogg(mach) Union89, RedTackle just to name a few

Union may not have impressed last week, especially in the 2nd half but in fairness they did almost connect on 3 other TD pass plays to Ross Jr. He dropped one when he was closely covered in the first half and was overthrown by Bellamy when 5 yards behind the secondary in the 3rd quarter. Lastly he made a great catch late that would have been a 30 yard TD but it was brought back due to holding. I know, I know would have/could have but the skill is there. The Union trio of Bellamy, Irabor and Ross Jr. were far from perfect but they didn't need to be. They'll be ready for Hobart.

The Last time the Statesmen visited Bailey, the Dutchmen were totally ready. Hobart brought an All American passing game that Union frustrated until a fourth quarter comeback that fell short. Many felt the play calling by Hobart was suboptimal , but credit should go to the Union defense. I think both teams should be ready and it will be a game that is critical to any title hopes for both teams. So rest up Dutchies and see you soon.

Totally agree.  It's been great to a see return the past two years to the old Union-Hobart slugfests of old.  Great coaching and plenty of talent on both sides, so should come down to a classic "who can make the most plays when it counts" battle.  Frankly, that probably describes every contest among the Hobart/Union/Ithaca/RPI box this year...  Good stuff.

Don't forget the pearls and fainting couch for when Union plays Ithaca and you have to watch Germinerio.
