RPI qb goes out with a knee injury late in the 2nd quarter.  Not much offense either way except for a nice 4th and 3 shot by RPI early in the game.

Ithaca needs to speed things up.  Forget about the TOP and move the ball!

Announcers also getting on my nerves.  They keep saying things that are wrong (downs, TO situations, etc)

Yea and the camera angle is great for the oline coaches watching, not for the fans though.  (ICs isn't much better)

Ah whatever I can't complain.  It's free.

You know what else is free? The downfall of Troy beginning Monday-Tuesday. The Hospital was be overflowing with COVID cases. It will be released to the water system by midnight.

Well not to worry.  Dr. Jackson must be reading these boards.  The camera angle is now coming from some ****ing space station.  I like the other one, Mach, make some phone calls please...

Sorry bro, the only pull I have these days is with the concessions stand. I got foot-longs in there for today's big crowd. I heard they've sold 7 so far. 3 to the same guy.

Well RPI owns Ithaca.  No other way to explain it.  I can't even say Ithaca is or has ever been the better team because it's clear they aren't.  RPI seems to always convert on 3-4 big plays against them and Ithaca can't covert any.  RPI always covers Ithaca's receivers like no team ever can.  No one is open, ever.

Can't the IC coaching staff just watch and see what these other average teams do to RPI to compete with them?  Do they always look ahead to the next week or something?

Maybe the bombers just couldn't concentrate all game with that amazing smell of foot-longs being exhausted into the playing area.

Anyway, shouldn't have ended that close. Ithaca was tough til the end.

Quite the dogfight in Schenectady.  Headed in the fourth quarter, Krewson's been the best player on the field - 11 of 14 for 208.

And as I type that he calls his own numbers and runs in the TD to put Hobart up. 17-13.

Union seems to do what Ithaca does.  tempo offense that takes 10 minutes off the clock per game because they are getting signals in from the coaches.  Some games it's quick but when it's not it hurts.  Union seems to take Irabor out too much.  He needs more carries.

Ice Bear

Ice Bear does not believe the Union coaching staff wants to win this game. Lots of credit to Hobart here  thought. Excellent D.

Man, what a war in Schenectady.  Hats of the Hobart squad for taking things to wire.  Union D with the stout run defense to close it out.

D O.C.

The forecast was for rain, rain and more rain so the Union offensive game plan was, hand the ball to Ike Irabor. That's what they did, way too much to the frustration of the Union brethren. It seemed like Union was trying to shorten the game right from the get go which only played right into Hobart's hands IMO. Union had numerous opportunities to put this game away but couldn't break Irabor loose to the Hobart Ds credit. David Krewson outplayed Will Bellamy today and it was the Union Defense which won the day...and oh, the  sun came out. Weather was never a factor.  :o

I agree way too much Irabor.  Just wasn't there.  And didn't help Bellamy to be throwing mostly on 3rd and long.  Krewson was great.  As was Ross Jr., who was 7 for 175 and a crucial TD.

Swanstrom never wins the big LL games. Can't wait to lose another ECAC Loser Bowl to oh let's say Montclair State.
