Most likely I will not be able to watch the live video of the Union game tomorrow. Is there some place to watch a rerun?

Appreciate any advice.

So my friend Ice Bear and the irrepressible Frank Rossi, both Union guys, have picked against the Dutchmen. :o What does this Garnet guru think? I don't believe Union has played it's best game yet. They've had some great halfs of football but have yet to function fully for 4 quarters. They have however been able to turn up the energy when they've needed it and tomorrow they'll need it all game. It's not like they haven't been down this road before. In 2019 Union found itself facing the undefeated Bombers, with a consensus All American QB, on the dreaded Ithaca hilltop. They were able to play their best game of the season that day exorcising the ghost of Bob Butterfield and winning in his stadium for the first time ever. Tomorrow some believe Ithaca will get it's revenge. I'm not one of them. The field will not be a factor because going back to Joey G. Ithaca has changed it's offense to a passing game and that functions best on a fast track, so I believe the field will be firm and cut, as it was in 2019. Union will come in confident. I think they'll get after Ithaca right away and temper down the Bombers sky high emotions.

Of course just because the Dutchmen will ignore the ghost of Butterfield doesn't mean he won't throw his powerful shadow. I expect a weird bounce, a broken play or a inexplicable call to show up ::)...and when it does the Ithaca brethren will be gloating.  I'm hoping the unflappable, experienced Dutchmen can play right through the foolishness and prove they're the better team. I think they are and I think they will.

Ice Bear

Ice Bear says +k to Ufan for a great take on tomorrow's big game.

Ice Bear feels comfort when UfanBill (who knows much more about football than Ice ever will) drops his Union wisdom upon us like Inspectah Deck drops the iconic first verse of bars on Protect Ya Neck. Ice also believes Union has not played their best game yet, not even close. Hopefully Ufan is on point and they do tomorrow.

Ice Bear

Ice Bear says btw UfanBill. Ice meant to text you all week. Thanks for the Union tubs and popcorn that you gave to Ice Bear's girls. They loved them and ate the **** out of the popcorn!

I'm not an Ithaca guy but I'd say... ictv.org/bomberslive/ ...is where you should look.

Union, 34-16.

SLU, 20-13.

Hobart, 51-0.

UofR, 21-17.

Bartman

WEEK 10 Picks(Bartman was 3-1 last week and 34-4 on season) . Bartman's picks are totally objective this week, as the Statesmen play for an ECAC bid the rest of the season.

Ithaca       31       Union        28           A battle to be remembered won by IC on a last second FG

RPI           17       SLU           14           Larries play their hearts out but RPI looks to a new pair of shoes

Hobart       48      Buff State   14          Hobart dominates until Dewall empties the bench

Rochester  31      Hartwick      10          Yellowjackets find a victim for the stinger

Good luck and health to the LL teams and Hartwick this weekend

Ithaca up 10-0 early.  Bombers the much more poised team, moving the ball at will.  Union will need to get their head in the game or else this will be over early.

Ice Bear

Ice Bear suggests Union always start each drive with 1st and maybe 25 as they are incapable of not false starting. Ice Bear says this is not officiating, this is a team that is being outplayed mentally, hands down. Ice Bear says it would nice to see us defend the pass with some type of efficiency...

This is not the Union offense we saw from 2017-2019.  I'm guessing the OC change is having a big effect on that.  Then again Ithaca's defense might be it's best in a long time as well.  Ike is one of the best "north/south" runners I've ever seen, but Union hasn't tried much at all in the air.  That last drive they had?  Did that make any sense to anyone in terms of play calling and tempo?

Also looks like RPI is playing their 2nd string QB vs SLU.

Ice Bear

Ice Bear congratulates the Bombers on a completely dominate first half of football, they've earned it. Union defense cannot defend the pass and have been undisciplined to say the least. On offense, the plan is once again Ike Irabor against the world. As amazing a player as Irabor is, that will simply not cut the mustard against good competition. Our passing game looks ****ing abysmal. It's hard for Ice to say that with players like Ross, Tolbert, Finn, etc. running routes. However thus far, that is exactly the case.

Ice Bear says he hopes the Dutchmen can come out and make a game of this in the second half. Again, Ice gives tons of credit to IC. Great game plan, intensity, and execution on both sides of the football. Ice hopes the tides turn a bit. Ice says let's go Union.

Is it lack of composure or is it the poltergeist that hangs over Butterfield Stadium? Union is WAY out of character in the 1st half. Ithaca is doing exactly what it needs to do and the Dutchmen?...well I'm not sure what's going on. Andre Ross Jr. has been shut out. Robbie Tolbert, is he even playing and Will Bellamy doesn't look like the same player. I'm now convinced he's playing with an injury. Probably ribs or shoulder.

No excuses...though and it's only 10-0. May I remind you Union was down 21-3 at halftime against Case Western Reserve in the 2019 NCAAs and came back to win 24-21. It's going to take a lot more than I'm seeing so far though.

I agree 100% Utah. The Union play calling has become very predictable.

Man, hats off to Ithaca.  They come totally prepared and played to win.

If you told me Irabor would have 120 yards going into the fourth quarter, I would have thought we'd be sitting sweet.  But when your QB is 5 of 13 for 33 yards .... Good grief.
