7-7 at the half. RPIs offensive play calling continues to be questionable, especially in key situations. Defense gave up a TD early then has pretty much shut it down.  Big takeaway, while it doesn't mean anything at the end of the day...RPI is NOT overmatched in this game. They actually look somewhat superior to Cortland so far. Cortland's O looks like it could be scary if clicking, but Endicott's Defense looks better than Cortland based on what I've seen so far. If something drastic doesn't happen, I could see RPI winning this by 2-3 TDs. Unfortunately, the play calling will likely keep it a single digit coin flip game.

Ice BEar says he does like the way the Engineers are running the ball. Shows Ice they are somewhat in control of the game and keeping the ball out of Segala's hands. Ice Bear says with that said, if RPI could hit a couple big plays he agrees that they could get some real separation and put the game completely in the D's hands. RPI D playing very physical. Ice is really proud of this RPI team.

RPI should win this game, but I'm not sure if I can stay awake for the end. RPI lines have the edge and defense leads the nation in swarming on run plays . With the weather, RPI should limit Segala passing...but we'll see. I'm simutanteously watching Hopkins play toe to toe with Mount Union. Their passing offense is superior for D3 and they have a decent chance to prevail, behind 17-15 at half.

Big competion by Marinopoulus on third and nine , followed by a throw inside the 10. He is on target and it is freeing up the run. I've turned off the sound , the Cortland announcers are annoying

14-7 good guys. Enjoyed the play calling on that drive and lookie lookie here. Time for the D to keep it up.

RPI misses an easy FG. Kicker got smoked.  No call. Turnover on downs.

Ice Bear

Ice Bear says RPI D doing what the RPI D has been doing all year...physical and tough making stops. Ice Bear says RPI's ground game and ball TOP ( ;D) pays off with a ****ing beautiful 42 yard TD. Really proud of this RPI team and program. Ice Bear says they could not have represented the LL better.

Ice Bear says he hopes he didn't run his big ****ing mouth too early and jinx the Engineers...Cortland scores on a big TD pass. 21-14 RPI.

I'm thinking a 17-16 win for RPI with a key Int at the end by RPIs D to clinch the hard fought win.

Congrats to RPI. Represented the LL well today!

Agree , I think Union and Bart(only team to beat RPI so far ) would have been tough outs for Cortland based on today. Marinopoulus had a fantastic day, he is peaking at just the right time. RPI might not win next week against North Central, but I hope they represent the LL well! Go Engineers.

RPI came to play! Their run game consistency was the major difference. Cortland looked good on the first defensive and offensive series and then struggled. Congrats to RPI on a great game and good luck next week.  Big congrats to my Dragons with a great season.

I know I'm a homer, but it seems like RPI represents the LL in the playoffs really well most times they get to the postseason. It just feels like there is some serious mental toughness there, where overmatched or not, they aren't intimidated by anyone, ever.
