 My LL predictions for the weekend:

So far I have seen Avery Turton, Azarai Lewis, and Diavon Clements

Ice Bear asks who?

Diavon Clements and Azarai Lewis (both two year starters in the secondary) and Avery Turton (WR).  Hard to tell if something's happened, if it's academics, or if it's just our grass-is-always-greener culture.   None of them were even LL honorable mention this year, so not clear what their D1/2 options will really be.  In any case, definitely a real loss for the Dutchmen, especially in the secondary, which looked to be a veteran group next year.   Hopefully this is the extent of it.

Ice says thanks Palooza, this is interesting. Ice says obviously there could be a ton of possibilities why these three are jumping ship. Ice says that even with the graduation of Ross Jr. the WR core is very deep and talented. Ice says he can't imagine how competitive it is to get playing time at this position. Ice says the secondary???who the **** knows. Ice wasn't all that pleased with their play.

Ice will also add that this season was quite interesting. Ice Bear says something just seemed off, call it a feeling based on some very inconsistent play, lack of discipline, and occasionally a lack of heart. Ice says the intricacies inside a team can be complex. Ice echo's Palooza here hoping this is the extent of the portal bull****.  Ice ****ing detests the new transfer rules in the NCAA. Obviously they play a more profound role at the D1 level...but he admittedly hates them.

Yeah, the team chemistry was just off this year. 

I actually first wrote this post calling into question whether their were too many egos on the field, but I've since edited it because I've decided that was unfair.  This is because it occurred to me to check the seniority of a few rosters.  RPI has a whopping 16 graduate/fifth years and another 25 seniors.  Ithaca has 3 graduate students and 43 (wtf?) seniors.  Union doesn't break out true seniors and fifth years, but has only 23 in total.  With that in mind, this season makes a lot more sense to me.

PS:  The world's scariest D3 stat:  North Central has a mere 12 seniors.

                                                         on campus and require players to wear masks and diapers for the
                                                         entire game restricting players performance but enhancing community
                                                         health and safety.....In a muffled masked voice,Coach Isernia praises                           
                                                         the NCAA for allowing the game to be played and for the concern for
                                                         the athletes health that the RPI administration showed as he tugs on
                                                         his full drooping diaper. This is only my prediction 

Not really a joking matter but just maybe Dr. Robinson was right. I attended the Dutchman Shoes game in Troylet last Saturday at East Campus Stadium and subsequently did test positive for Covid on Wednesday. I'm OK. It hit me like a bad cold. I should have heeded the warnings.

Oddity on the Morrisville roster (that I don't believe I ever saw before on a D3 roster) is a total of nine guys that are 300 pounds or more. They range from 300 on the button up to 370. Add in another guy that checks in at a slim, trim 296 and you have ten. Hopefully, these guys are all more along the lines of The American Dream Dusty Rhodes, The Adorable Adrian Adonis and Playboy Buddy Rose rather than athletic football players!!!

If it's the latter and these guys can actually move, block and tackle, it could prove to be a more interesting, eventful and possibly unpleasant day than we would like. It is, to put it mildly, concerning.

I mean, in their prime, I'd take those 3 guys over any D3 football player in terms of athleticism. They probably all played some football somewhere in HS and/or college.
