Gro wasn't at the game so he's kept quiet on the topic. Obviously the D needs to step it up... When the O spots you 42 points you need to come away with a W.

For ECACs RPI needs to increase the D so we can tell SJF to S the D!

I think it is "more gay," but it doesn't really matter.  We've all agreed to spell Ithaca as Ithica.  Make up all the words you want, since we all understand the idea in the end.

NNR...you are right on that one...RPI is a three over time loss and a touchdown away from being undefeated.....Very good team...and I am a Union fan also!!!

Union gave up 42 points to RPI who is NOT in the Playoffs.

I remind you, I root for Union but I look at things realistically.......

obviously not if you cant figure out that RPI is a playoff type team who would be there had it not been for a crap first quarter against hobart... RPI can play with ANYONE in the east hands down... and I am a union fan

Playoff teams are Playoff Teams NNR. Playoff Teams figure out a way to win a game when they have a bad 1st Quarter. Playoff Teams figure out how to win a game when their Defense can't stop anybody. Hobart clearly had a bad 3rd Q against RPI, they won, they are a Playoff Team, they figured it out. Union couldnt stop RPI, they won, they are a Playoff Team and thats what Playoff Teams do.

All I am saying is that against Hobart 2 weeks ago Union gave up 450 yards. Against RPI last week, Union gave up 42 points. If Union wants to beat an Ithica team that averages 38 ppg, they are going to have to play better Defense!

This message board is gonna sound pretty quiet after Ithaca and Cortland pound Union and Hobart. The LL should stand for Laughable Losers, Union's defense is unsound and Ithaca will throw for about 400 yards against them. Hobart's offense will be lucky to gain 100 total yards against Cortland's defense.

Hartwick scored a lot of points on Ithaca when I'm sure Ithaca's 1st team was on the sideline checking out the Cheerleaders......

Bottom Line- Union's D has not been good the last 2 weeks. It's time for them to get back to their mid-season form because Fellicetti is good and their Defense is good enough to at least make the U's Offense sputter.

If both teams show up, it should be a showdown to remember!

reno this is not true... A) they played the best 2 teams on their scheadule so yes they are going to have more trouble with them... BUT they still won the turnover battles my friend... good enough D to win the games... granted they could've posted given up less points but come on man

Hold up, Hold up! Since when does the LL claim that it posts about factual things?? Isn't that a direct contradiction to the LL's Post Pattern mission statement. I didn't realize you guys were into "facts" in here. I  usually save those for the E8 board, but if you so desire me to post only "facts," I'll be the only one in here doing so besides Reno(the only logical U fan on the board).
