you had to throw one little dig at me huh? you just had to do it.

Walnuts would be interesting if it wasn't the EXACT SAME routine everytime she goes bonkers... get dunk, tell everyone to "kiss my azz", cry, call abusive boyfriend, pass out, wake up and remember NOTHING. Rinse, repeat.

Gro, It wasn't a dig....I edited my post to explain what I meant.

Great story (hulk hogan shake, BOL!), and good analysis. Gro's always in the mix, but not usually the center of attention... but you'll miss him when he's gone. Just call me the GroZone Layer.

EDIT

I typed "ozone" into GIS and came up with this unintentional porn gem... Ozzy Ozone

As I mentioned.... previous lurker..but that hasn't kept me from laughing out loud several times a week at your give and take..

Have a disturbing visual of Ms. Leatherpants in the closet that may bother me for a while..

Taking the boy to Orientation tomorrow.. the journey commences...

Ahhh, I remember orientation like it was yesterday.   Seeing all of the huge dudes practicing up on the turf field...where I actually joined them (enginegro will give you his perspective on this one)...thinking I was never going to be able to keep up with them.

Fast forward 3 weeks on the first day of camp when we did all our tests and I banged out 225X 20 reps as a frosh.   I only got outbenched by a couple dudes that year.  The coaches knew reg meant bidness.

sollified

What I remember from orientation was 2legit rocking the sleeveless shirt... his arms were way to be for sleeves.

reg of course you came in meaning business.. you had to live up to all the hype from your recruiting video

"I will come in bigger, faster, and stronger!"

PBR...

dang reg u certainly did mean bidness hoisting that many yorks...more importantly how many pbr 16 ozs could you bench?

'gro

sollified from out in left field with the burn... let the games begin heeey-ohhh!

Ahhh, I remember too. Big bad Sophmore 'Gro sees  incoming freshmeat... I mean freshmen come up to the turf field while we are having captains practice. They are all dressed to join in, except for one wannabe badazz... let's call him Tegulator.  poor teg forgot to bring sneakers to his S.O. and is wearing a pair of loafers that matched his gym shorts perfectly.  I got a good laugh out of it, but the kid made some sweet cuts in those buster browns.

Regulator

One or two things Gro....

#1 I bet if someone told that cat that there may or may not be captains practice....that he may have brough some fresh white kicks.
#2 This kid "Tegulator", would have probably leveled you right there on the spot if you tried to clown him

Man he must have been one bad dood.

your boy tegulator was no match for 'Gro circa 1998. The only way to beat him was to cut block him. Unfortunatly in Gros first start in college that's all the other team did... made for a great 1st film session with the Kinger.

EDIT
2 things about Gros first regular season game...

1. Only time gro has ever been nervous before a game, like "I can't breathe" nervous... then Kinger goes into this speech about how we came to RPI for many reasons, but one of them was to play football (insert a lot of yelling)... bam, nervousness gone.

2. #1 doesn't matter because it was hotter than hades that day and I think half of our team had heatstroke by halftime, gro included.

2 Quick things.

1.  Paula Walnuts boyfriend in RW is Keith.  Guy she bit has a different name.  This is MORE than enough evidence to show me that the dude who smacked her is innocent.  She most definately deserved it.

2.  Recruiting weekend.  Also Summer Fest at OX when it was respectable.  LD11 got absolutely smashed and hooked up with some old chick on a table at O'Leary's, leading to a chafing rash on my wee wee do to in bar dry humping.

From Newark Airport...LD11...OUT.

Reg thought for 2 seconds he needed a new toy......however MR isn't even biting.  I even gave her the "if I can get this at the price I want...I will guarentee we can make money on it by june of next year....plus it will save gas on the other boat.
MR- "have you even thought about how you are going to use that"
Reg- "no why....it's a good deal, plus it looks bad"
MR- "goodbye"

23' YAMAHA AR 230 JET BOAT, 2004- 280hp, Less than 12 hours, Like Brand new

Gro, imagine this thing sitting in front of PD&IC II!!!

suggs your comments on Keane State remind me of the PSU game circa '01... hot as ba!!s... stupid defense let them score with like 2 minutes left forcing the offense to put points on the board...

i remember watching plymouth march down the field thinking... I can't even lift my helmet, how am I going to go lead us to the promise land.

Sollified,

Is that the point in time when you started yelling "WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE!!!!!" incoheriently?

I wish I would have know that it was caused by brain damage....I wouldnt have ripped you about it so much.

the p-state game was definetly hotter than vs. Kean... I was pouring water on me head, on me arms, anywhere.  And our "stupid" defense only gave up 14 pts and forced 7 turnovers (thanks D3.com for the writeup) so you can thank the red swarm for that W.  (no not RS81, the Defense)

UNION RULES

A dedicated Teamsters union worker was attending a convention in Las Vegas and decided to check out the local brothels. When he got to the first one, he asked the Madam, "Is this a union house?"

"No," she replied, "I'm sorry it isn't."

"Well, if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?"

"The house gets $80 and the girls get $20," she answered.

Offended at such unfair dealings, the union man stomped off down the street in search of a more equitable, hopefully unionized shop. His search continued until finally he reached a brothel where the Madam responded, "Why yes sir, this is a union house.

We observe all union rules."

The man asked, "And if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?" "The girls get $80 and the house gets $20."

"That's more like it!" the union man said.

He handed the Madam $100, looked around the room, and pointed to a stunningly attractive blonde.

"I'd like her," he said.

"I'm sure you would, sir," said the Madam. Then she gestured to a 92-year old woman in the corner, "but Ethel here has 67 years seniority and according to union rules, she's next."
