I was over on the MIACPP and saw this amazingly bright light which drew me towards it...
God, I suppose world peace would be too much to ask for, but can you help Mauer win the batting title. I know he's a dork and all, but he really works hard. But, let the Red Sox win another World Series. Not that I'm a Sox fan, but when they lose, their fans make life so darn miserable for the rest of us.

Again, LD11 waited for the hidden camera to pop out and tell him it was all a joke...

Yesterday, LD11 found himself flying out of Newark, which had a connection in Charlotte finally landing him in Wilmington.  LD11 had an important engagement last night that was pretty damn important.  3:05 flight out of Newark, 3:15 rolls around when we first hear there is a delay.  Finally around 3:45 the plane is there.  Pilot says because of weather we have a window of opportunity to take off so to get on the plan quickly.  45 MINUTES later, everyone is on the plane.  I wanted to punch EVERYONE in the face.  I'm almost last to get on, and surprise!!! I have to check my carry on. 

SO we back out of the gate, and BAM, 'bad news folks', they closed down all flights South.  We end up taking off around 6:15.  I had called US Air to change my connection flight.  I'm on the 7:45, pilot says the flight will take 1 hour and 15 minutes.  As we prepare for landing the pilot says 'I apologize but the flight took a little longer than expected due to being re-routed'.  Ok, so we land, 'It is 7:41 local time in Charlotte.' 

8 of us.  8!!!  We run about 2 miles to the polar opposite part of the airport since thats where the connection was, which said it was now taking off at 8.  We arive at the terminal at 7:53, and the plane is gone.  A 45 person plane couldn't wait 5 more minutes for 8 people!!!???  Last flight of the night is 9:30, guess what?  It's overbooked by...8 people!  LD11 ends up getting a rental car and driving home.  Got to Wilmington around 1am. 

Dropped the car off this morning.  They have NO idea where my bag is.  AND, it cost me $200 for the rental car.  I plan on writing some choice words to US Air for not holding that f'ing plan in Charlotte for us.  And I p[lan on writing God a letter to ask him to either stop being so harsh with the weather, or just to cut NJ/NY/ and CT right off of the country and let it float out into the ocean.

+K to get LD11 to the magical 300, hey if it was wins you'd be a shoo-in for the baseball HOF...

Looks like GOD needs his own version of PTI's stat boy. BC wasn't even in the dance in 2003 when the Cuse won it all.  If it makes you feel any better Cuse played their 1st 2 games at Boston Garden.

pbr interview in 'cuse at agways corp hq for a position in their energy division when i was coming out of college at the end of april......2 day interview went to bed woke up with about 10 inches of snow on the ground and still snowing like mad as i made my to airport around noon for my flight...pbr realized at that point if its almost may 1 and still snowin like a mother up there its not a place pbr wants to throw his anchor overboard....
