From the looks of the people filling out the applications for TSA I think they are sniffing and drinking the fluids and gels.

JT, who was FMJT with, that was the job fair KS was at if she was at the Hilton.  I might have talked to her and not realized it.

Reg, KS was a consultant on a long term contract when he got laid off.  KS was trying to avoid consulting if possible but it is looking like it is time to start taking short term assignments again.  KS used to travel but wants to avoid it if possible.

Johnson Controls - I think they outsourced EDI.

Definitely give jobsbyfax a shot.  For a little over $100 they'll fax your resume and cover to 1,000 numbers.  If you don't have a job in 30 days, bang another 1,000 resumes no charge.  They'll keep faxing until you have job.  Pick criteria from industries, cities, metro areas.  FMJT went past 30 days a few years ago (2003??) and the next 1,000 did it.

JT was suspicious... but everyone he knows who tried it... got a job.

Question of the day...

What is the TSA doing with all the "liquids and gels" that they are confiscating at america's airports? Do they throw it away? Give it to the homeless (they could use the cologne)?, inspect it and sell it back to travelers?  'gro wants to know.

That topic came up last night with Mrs Grad...she had heard some threw out like $600 worth of stuff..must have been perfume & makeup.

Same thing happens with Cuban cigars.  You think they get thrown out.  Where do you think JT gets cigars for clients that like cubans?

They drink the confiscated booze too.

This video has JT laughing so hard he's in tears as he types this Who Needs Friends Like These  Completely SFW.

What are the odds that JT's next post is coming from prison?
10:1?.....

Do these cats realize that there isn't going to be anyone carrying on luggage for an overnight trip?....Do they realize that they don't have enough room in the luggage compartment?

Reg is wondering what the ramifications of something like this, are?
What about insulin?....what about baby formula??
What about butter?

Pretty soon everyone will have to pack lighter and do laundry on trips.

JT- What does doing laundry have to do with toothpaste, deoderant, insulin, and butter?
All of these things are necessities for business travel....unless of course you don't mind walking around stinking like an onion with breath that would make a wolverine purr.

Forget about that stuff Reg, what do you think this poor bastard is supposed to do now?

'gro

The only liquids they are allowing in the cabin are insulin and breastmilk... check that, Cambodian breastmilk only.

JT's thinking that the reduction in carry-on may lead to a weight reduction in check-in luggage.  Used to bring own snacks and drinks.  No more drinks.  Sometimes would bring a those little booze bottles and save $4.

I wish there was one way to "take out" all these crazy bastards once and for all.

+1k, a corona football and an old blue tshirt.

For those of you on the board that may think this is cool....I applaud your ability to make people like me hate you.

Here's a treat http://www.rdfn.org/otakon2004/01%20friday/index.html

Yes, People were walking around the city of Baltimore like this.....a city where if you wander off a block or two from the convention center you are in the middle of crack city and are likely to be in trouble if you are dressed normal.

AND apparently they sell those damn realistic lookin Airsoft guns at these conventions...   This is the teacher in Admit talkin, but Admit wonders how long it will be til some teenage dips*** brandishes one of those bad boys with a cop nearby and catches a couple 9 mm slugs for his stupidity...
My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

Reg is thinking that bringing mini booze bottles on a plane may have been against the rules before 3 days ago....

Weight reduction on checked .....limit to one bag checked baggage

It all makes sense now....less people allowed on planes, longer lines, less baggage and a higher price per ticket.  I love travelling.

JT never had any problems with the little bottles.

Now the TSA is still going to remain PC and not profile.  Keep pulling out the little old lady with blue hair.  It makes me ill.

Reg, you let us know YOUR plans and we'll work PHR around it.  Either way, I can't wait to see Gro get all lovey dovey wiff his girlywhirly again.

LD11's Bro is flying to vegas today.  Good luck homes!  Atleast if you are flying anywhere missing cologne, deoderant, toothpaste, KY and all that good ish, Vegas is the right place to go.  They hook all that stuff up at the hotel.  And you can wear a white robe and get a warm nut shave.  That's some serious hospitality.

It's almost time for LD11 to bust out for some Friday golf.  Screw this work business.  You dig?
