So, after Mrs. Reg felt embarassed about not getting you anything... did things get a little weird... you know, like late night cinemax soft core kinda weird. You know, like you, her, a little league catcher's mitt and a lot of old bay seasoning kinda weird.

how's that for substance?

No, at first I was messing with her telling her I got her this awesome gift and how happy she is going to be with it.....and then the sniffles and choking back tears started bc I said "what you didn't get me anything".....
After I told her I was jk about 87 times....she got the joke.

I want substance like.....who buys who what....I want to know if you her bought matching frolf sets....I want to when this is all over, that we can get an apartment together......

You gotta be careful with the "just a joke thing" , especially around important female type events. JT's learned the hard way... more than once. He has "ruined the mood" with FMJT and the catcher's mitt and old bay seasoning went bye bye. Just JT and ESPN

I'm thinking about hitting the frolf course tomorrow with some ice cold miller lites.

When it comes to who buys what... typicaly Gro gets the meal check 3 times out of 4. GGF is known as the cupon freak I think she has a cupon for just about every restaurant or movie in chatt town. She's been known to purchase a random gift (something for PDIC mansion, a shirt, blah blah blah). Gro's not much of the random gift giver, but hey those meals add up!

? for llpp'ers....been awhile since pbr has been out in the single scenery...whats the deal do dood's still pick up the meal check all the time, part of the time or what? most of pbr's friends are all tied down and pbr has no reference....

When KR and MrsKR were dating (started in April 2002), KR picked up the tab 9/10 times, unless of course her parents were in town in which case they picked up the tab.

Once we got engaged (summer 2004) and KR had spent nearly all of his life's savings on the ring, it shifted to about 50:50, until the last few months when MrsKR's checkbook was running on E.

Now that we're married and all the money is together.... What KR means here is KR's Navy and work money is in an account as well as MrsKR's loan money and both parties can withdraw from it.

JT bought the first couple of times. Then FMJT said, "I'm taking you out." She paid. Personally JT feels that after four meals and $400 plus entertainment, there should be some reciprocating going on. After 3 or 4... you're just being used or she's a princess. JT can't hang with a princess.

JT and FMJT have been 50:50 ever since.

He was at a party with a bunch of people. That means they are all idiots, no matter how drunk you are.

1) Someone should have observed that the simple firework mortar he used would not have enough lift to get the guy off the ground. It would just burn the crap out of him.

2) If he had a firework with enough kick to lift him off the ground, it would either blow or rip his head clean off. A human neck is a pretty weak base.
