Gonna be re-tooling Unionfootball.com this weekend.  Any suggestions of what I should be including (aside from last year's photographs -- I might as well preempt that one).  My thought is that I'll change the site to more of a blog format this year (makes it a helluva lot easier to update from what I understand) and the use of Youtube.com for sound/video clips.  What else can I do that would be somewhat simple, but effective?  I feel like I've fallen behind in the world of website administration over the past five years...

Frank

P.S.  Full nine-game schedule will be broadcast on WABY (1160AM) this season.  WABY now has its own webcast at www.saratogamoon.com utilizing Windows Media Player.  Anyone object to us NOT using Sportsjuice.com this year?

Does anyone get the NFL network on cable? Good stuff, wish it was in HD.  Anywho... it seems that they only play 3 commercials on that channel not including spots for the network itself. One of them I can't get out of my head, and neither will you.

Can I help you enjoy that snickers?

Review: Chattanooga Beerfest

13 bucks to get in and get your "free" mug.  Beer samples are free but it cost $2 to fill your mug. Good beers all around, mostly from TN, NC, GA brewers. Gro arrived around 3, and was pretty much in the bag by 6. Gro was definetly "that guy" with the beer stain on his shirt.

it won't let me post a pic of the shirt damage... I will post it soon.

Gro,

Why $13 dollars...why not 10...why not 15?...Was it worth the money for admission?....did you sample the ben & jerry's flavored lager?

Reg went out to the Kent narrows this Saturday-Sunday....and came home at around 12 on SUnday with a delayed 4.5 level HO.  Saturday was fun...we pulled my buddy's boat over to the www.jettydockbar.com  and had out own "personal bar" all night.   I need to find something to do this weekend....end of the season means beginning of Football season and a wild 'n out weekend.

Frank- I would include multiple shots provided by Garnet on the re-tooled website.....that and more pics of Union players crying and hugging each other alot....yeah that would be good.

Gro,

Unless you have like four of those PUMA shirts, then your "casual" wardrobe is hurting as bad as Regs....seriously, I have 4 polos and about 2 t-shirts that get 95% wear on a weekend casual basis.....

"That guy"....HA!

RE: T-Shirts

Funny, I still have a few shirts left that I had when I was in college.  (I had about 50 Ithaca Football Shirts) and I still wear a few of them.  Now were talkin almost 10 years here, but I cant picture myself in 1996 wearing a shirt from 1986........

A gift from the Fantasy Football Gods...

Jeff George signed by the Raiders...

I no longer am upset with the dreaded 4th pick in the draft...

This is 2 years in a row I got the 4th pick.  It's the worst.  There are always 3 marquee players, and 4 is a chance.  Last year, I was almost forced by the hand of God to take Priest Holmes as some moron chose Daunte Caulpepper 3rd...Well, we all know how that worked out for me.

Jeff George, here we come.  LD11 is for real this year!

Re Clothes:  I think I have 3 t-shirts and 2 polos that I wear out. now I'm down to 2 t-shirts.

Re 4th pick: I don't know who's in your league, but maybe... just maybe someone with a top 3 pick is a moron and won't take johnson, tomlinson, or alexander.

Well, there is no way those 3 aren't going 1 - 2 - 3.   So my predicament is, who the hell do I pick?  On principle alone I CAN'T ever choose Clinton Portis ever again, even though he's 4th on everybody's draft board.  he's hurt, and he sucks anyway.  I think i'm gonna actually go after Rudi Johnson.

WWLLPPD?

I need some serious input.  This is a serious choice.

'gro

Pick #4... Tiki, Peyton (depends on your scoring), or Rudi Johnson. Stay away from Portis and Edge.

Pat Coleman

I'd go Tiki at 4 and I would not lose any sleep over it.
