Speaking of hitting a child, did you guys hear about the coach at the youth football game in CA?  A player on the other team hit one of his players from behind after the whistle.  The coach then ran out on to the field and did the same thing to the offending player. 

Parents and coaches have gone crazy!

Gro, If it were me he did that to, there wouldnt even have been a verbal confrontation. 

All he would have heard is the "Click Clack" of my sperry topsiders and then the whistling sound of knuckles in the air.  After that, he would be hitting the snooze alarm the next morning....

And somewhere in that whole confrontation, I did tell the guy I would "put him to sleep"

Pros: Culpepper should be back to normal in MIA, same for J lewis in B'more... I think that kicker from NE is going to be legit (as far as kickers go).

Cons: Dillion's going to lose some carries to mulrooney, and coles plays for the jets.

Gro, here is my take:

RB:  Rudi Johnson
-After all the fuss of the 4th pick, I think it was a decent choice.  He'll be consistent atleast and they are a high scoring offense.

RB:  Jamal Lewis
-No one wanted him.  Maybe a revamped Baltimore Offense could help him this year.  It was my best option.  I pick up Chad Johnson int he second round so I needed a RB.

RB:  Corey Dillon
-He was still around int he 4th round, so I HAD to pick him up.  Might lose some carries this year, but he's a good second, third, or even reserve RB in a 10 team league.

RB:  Joseph Addai
-Word on the street is this kid could be legit.

RB:  Mike Anderson
-I covered my azz, if Jamal Lewis poops the bed, he could pick up the slack.  If not, I can dump him.

RB:  TJ Duckett
-Another one of those, 'He's still around' picks.  Might make some noise in the first few weeks.  Might have to start him this week since Portis is a blowhard.

WR:  Chad Johnson
-Had to abort the drafting of RBs in the 1st 3 rounds theory.  he was the best player available, and again, a high scoring offense.  Should get me ATLEAST 10 points a game.

WR:  Santana Moss
-I feel like I stole him.  I like my receiving crew.

WR:  Laverneus Coles
-Never know

WR:  Terry Glenn
-Always is consistent if he is healthy, and if TO is a douche, Glenn is the go to guy...Might be anyway.

WR:  Jerry Porter
-No idea.

QB:  Daunte Culpepper
-I think he's gonna have a HUGE year and I got him in like the 12th round.

QB:  Matt Leinart
-I needed a backup and Leinart could be a stud by October or November.

TE:  Vernon Davis
-I think he's gonna be this years breakout player, and with Alex Smith as their QB, he is gonna be the bread and butter of the offense.

DEF/ST:  New England
-Might as well pick a Defense I can root for.  Seau might have a resurgence, and Rodney Harrison is back and ready to kill people.

K:  Steven Gastkowski
-I am willing to bet this kid will surprise people this year.

I feel like I have a LOT of depth at WR and RB so if some of them suck, get hurt, or don't play, I can move them.  Last year I was trying to plug in Kevan Barlow as a starter because I wasn't deep enough.  We are only allowed 5 moves all year in this league, so with the exception of QB, K, TE, and DEF during a bye week, I think i'm looking real solid.

But time will tell.  I thought I was golden with Priest and Kevin Jones in the 1st 2 rounds last year, and we all know how that turned out.

If you read through my jibberish, you would see it wasn't my fight to fight.  I am not going to jail or muddying the waters for someone else. Your kid, your fight...period.

LD: TDT is a big fan of Culpepper this season as well.  He has looked really good so far in the games I have seen.  Lots of people to prove wrong in Minneapolis.  DC was drafted by TDT as well in one of his leagues and he will lead to the promise land...Vernon Davis was an absolute freak at the combine.  Sounds like he will be a rediculous matchup for LBs (too fast 4.3 or 4.4 40 yd) and too big for any DBs and Safeties.  If Alex Smith isn't a complete BUST I think your boy will have a Gates-like season.
