BB,

What's up with the delay/field?

Wet?  Oh, that's Frank Rossi, not Dean Martin. Honest mistake.

Bobby had to step away, so bobby missed the call.....

UNION 82

Couldn't score from 4 yard line.

Yeah, the color guy is questionable.

It should be pretty interesting to see how the rankings change.  The Rev reckons that Union will drop a spot or two for the loss, and Hobart will remain the same.  Rev doesn't think Hobart will move up due to merely eeking out a victory over a weak team.

Question for Union fans: Is Union not a "mud horse"?  Historically, 'Bart has been a mud horse, but Rev currently suffers from lack of good intel.

John McGraw

Springfield plays on Astroturf.

Union is going to drop more than a spot or two.  Voters will respond to the fact that one of their top weapons is out for a while.  They might've dropped even without the loss tonight.

Bobby thought U's D would be the strength of the team this year.

That being said, Springfield scores, and misses the x-pt

Springfield 38 - 30

I didnt smite you for that but I do think you have it kind of backwards.....

Im not too suprised about the springfield score.  Springfield had a real young team last year that did some damage against Ithaca in the second half of last years game . Im pretty sure SC returned most of their starters as well, including a QB that was legit.  Maybe the best athlete on the field of the IC/Sc game last year.

If bobby remembers correctly, U's D was the question mark last year b/c of youth.  With a year under their belt, bobby thought they would be stronger.

The O on the other hand graduated most of the O-line, but returns the skilled postions.

I may be wrong, but thats why bobby thought the D would be the stronger unit.

Reno Hightower

Don't lose faith in the U's defense.

BobbyBoucher

never said bobby lost faith, bobby was just surprised by 38 pts.

'gro

what happened to union's WR? game or practice injury?

RPI - not impressed. need more points!!
