start denver's d.  nyg are playing the cowboys in dallas on mnf.  should be a high scoring affair.  denver's d has allowed only 1 or 2 tds all season.  they are tenacious.

i'd bench rackers.  the cards are playing oaktown so the most he'll be doing is kicking extra points.  you will probably get more bang for your buck with vandersnatch.

Rolevio agrees, particularly at Union, holding the door open for people was so commonplace Rolevio would get upset when someone didnt hold the door, whether it was for me or someone else.

Fantasy Football amature move of the century.

In my dolla bill league the last place team -- the one that's actually worse than mine -- just traded Reggie Wayne for Amani Toomer. This crappy owner is a giants fan and already has plaxico burres and brandon jacobs (who he DRAFTED in the 4th or 5th round this year).

Rolevio solved said problem by aquiring both Wayne and Toomer.  Toomer was a waiver wire pick-up, and Rolevio had to give up Gates for Wayne.

Of course Rolevio's team is the Patriots, so Rule #7 doesn't apply to him, the only Patriot he has on the roster is Brady.

The Guru giveth and taketh the +k away....

Onto LL football.......

TGP did a little research on the SLU-Bart series while stone cold munchin on a steak sammy.

As far as TGP can tell, it's been at least 10-15 years since the Larries have beaten Bart (will probably have to wait until a Larry fan can chime in and/or Bart releases the "Game Notes" which usually has info like that covered amongst its cheesy headlines).  Average scores have been monkey stomps in the neighboorhood of 35-8 since the 97 season.

However,  to their credit, the St Larries have made the series much more competitive since 03 - narrowing Bart's margin of victory from 18 down to 4 based on last year's 13-9 tally (and being the most competitive game in the series in recent history).

TGP gives a lot of this credit to Coach Phelps (SLU '91).  He's a solid coach and good recruiter.

So is this the year the Larries finally smash some Pumpkins?  The win over RPI this season definitely raised a lot of LLPP eyebrows (and made most of the RPI faithful despondent for several days) and SLU could easily be 5-0 (their 2 losses were by 1 and 3 pts respectively).

TGP forecasts another tight game controlled mostly by defense.  Rain is expected to start dropping tomorrow to soak old Leckonby field.  However, come Saturday there should be a break in the weather, but the high is only expected to be 51 (which sounds freezing to TGP now that TGP has been Californicated).

Ball control will be big and not unlike most football games - the turnover battle will likely decide the game.

That's all TGP's got for now.  Lunch over.

Please discuss amongst yo-selves!

Stlarry is not sure of the exact year that SLU last beat Bart, but SLU has not had a winning season since 1991, so it was probably not since that point.  TGP is right, though, the gap has seemed to close in the recent past, and this year has been so tight across the board, anything could happen.

The fact that it is a home game gives Stlarry some hope; as anyone who has come up to the north country knows, the weather becomes a huge factor, and the Larries practice in the crappy weather that frequents Canton (although 51 and rainy is downright pleasant compared to some games Stlarry had to suffer through).  The weather could have a negative impact on the Larries, however, based on the fact that SLU has a non-existant running game, and will likely have to take to the air.  Either way, it looks like it will probably be another thight game in the LL this year.  Look for SLU to throw in some wrinkles coming off a bye week.

Stlarry apologizes for the football talk and offers this as an apology:

ummm  what about D1 cheerleaders?

Are they fair game???

Vanessa Marrero is smokin' hot, but looks like she may need a visit to Dr.90210 to be a legit contender......does being a Florida International co-ed mean she has to participate in the community service thingy involving the U of Miami dibacle??  If so, U89 has an open invite for her to clean his crib in a lil' strapless number.

one last point on cheerleading....is it a sport or not? need llpp input because in nj that just made it a sport and now girls can opt out of gym class....

WESTFIELD, N.J., Oct. 18 (UPI) -- High school cheerleading is now considered a sport like football in a New Jersey school district, so cheerleaders may now opt out of gym class.
"We're not ditzy little girls," 15-year-old Westfield High School cheerleader
Brandi Alvarez tells The (Newark) Star-Ledger.
The Westfield board of education recently approved the cheerleaders' petition for their activities to be considered a sport, freeing them from having to play dodgeball in gym.
The next step is statewide recognition, the Westfield cheerleaders say.
That is because the New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association, the
governing body for high school sports, does not consider cheerleading a varsity sport.
Unlike "the cheerleaders of yesteryear," modern-day cheerleaders "are
competitive, well-trained individuals," said Patty Ann Romero, founder and
director of the Central Jersey All-Stars, a competitive cheerleading academy in Cranford.

It's funny you mention Vanessa, U89.  Reg was thinking the SAME EXACT thing once he looked at her last picture!....Wierd.
ANywhoo.....you give me a list of colleges that let their cheerleaders run around in a one piece "booty shorts" outfit like that and I am ripping my diploma up and applying as a freshman.  I figure it's that or keep grinding it out, since I am no longer eligible for Real world or Road Rules....

PS- speaking of too old for RW RR.....I like Tina last week, would also like a chance to punch Beth in the face....In fact, I would pay to do it.
