- The new Quizno's prime rib sub gives me sweet dreams at night.
Reg agrees, the Philly Cheese is also most delicious!...Mmmmm mmmmm TOASTY!

ZA had the prime rib sub today...It was $11.00!!!  But, it was awesome...Can't imagine what that would cost a lineman today...especially one that could eat two or three...

A $33.00 lunch?  Whoaa!!!

LD11 can not yet talk trash about this week's LLPPFFL scores.  I'm up 97.83-43.43.  I have no guys left, but whoever Reg's AirportFatties is has Eli Manning, Whitten, Amani Toomer, and Vanderjagt.

I think i'm safe, but the FFL gods, hate me.  In my other league yesterday I got smoked ONCE again.  My opponent had Alge Crumpler, who scored 32 POINTS.  When LD11 had a chance going into the 4pm games, Javon Walker and Darrell Jackson combined for 35 for his opponent.  FF is retarded.

How bad must it suck being Joseph Addai?  He runs the Colts down the field all day long, finishes with 11 Rushes for 85 yards.  RHodes gets 13 carries for 26 yards.  THEN, a Dallas Clark 1 yard TD Reception, Marvin Harrison 4 yd TD reception, Marvin Harrison 1 yard TD reception.  How to pay the kid off.  DOes anyone else think they are trying EXTRA hard to pump up Peyton Manning's stats?

'gro

manning got his neck stretched longer than it is so they were giving him some sympathy TD's.

Gro will probably lose to Reg this week but the playoff situation is still good. Reg can thank gro for benching Chester Taylor at the last min for Willie Parker. In the usual FF irony gro started Chester on his other team and benefited greatly from his 95 yd touchdown romp.

Anyone see/hear abou the MSU/Northwestern game?  Grad couldn't believe that MSU was down 38-3 with 9 minutes to go in the 3rd and ended up losing 41-38!!!

Reg, do you have stat tracker? Best $10 you can ever spend. Gro has his "lazy sunday" setup with the laptop on the coffee table for live FF scoring, big screen with split screen of both games (finally got that to work), and gro's arse planted firmly on the couch.

Most amazing part of the game was the fact that turnovers played a minimal role:

TD#1 - Resulted off prior NW score

TD#2 - Resulted from 3-and-out

TD#3 - Resulted from 3-and-out

TD#4 - Resulted from blocked punt for TD

TD#5 - Resulted from 3-and-out

FG - Resulted from INT (teams were tied at this point though)

This is what almost happened to Union when they held off F&M a couple weekends ago, and it goes to show you that in college football, even with new stupid timing rules, there is such a thing as getting too protective of a lead, even midway through the second half.

Garnet

LD,

Regs Airport Fatties = Garnet's team.

Regulator

Garnet,
Can you rename your team to Sucksville or something?  You are giving Reg a bad name!!

Garnet

Reg, It is done!

Sorry about that.  When 'Gro got all over Garnet for having a lame team name, the first thing that popped into his head was the Airport Fatties that Reg would encounter.

Apparently it was more confusing than funny.

BTW do you have any recently stories to share with the LLPP with regards to said fatties?

TGP is very happy to see that "It's TGP Charlie Brown" will be broadcast this Friday night on ABC.

TGP is also very happy to see that Bart has averaged about 400 yds in total offense while allowing less than 2 td's the past couple of weeks.

The TGP hopes that this is a sign of Bart beginning to gel in time for the home stretch.

The Alfredo's will be a tough test, but TGP thinks Bart is up to it.  The Statesmen will need to NOT LOOK AHEAD to 11/4.

U89 had Alge Crumpler riding 'da pine this weekend.  Randy McMichael got the start for the ClownPunchers....U89 sucks.

BTW, U89 will trade Crumpler or McMichael for a running back with big, fast legs.....any takers??

URGENT MESSAGE TO GROtah.net

Any thoughts on tonights NFL contest??  'Da 'boys by 3 with 44.5.

U89 is leaning towards the Giants money line @ +155...."We don't need no stinking points."

U89 also likes under 44.5.

'gro

Gro sees a wild one similar to the Dal/Philly game last week.  take Dal -3 and the over.

note: Gro is an idiot. He knows nothing about sports wagering. This is why there are lines on games. Its really 50/50 isn't it. Use gro's advice with extreme caution.

In terms of the Hobart-Alfred matchup, there is only one scenario inside the Liberty League scenarios that will make the game decisive of some outcome.  That is only if Hobart beats Union, Union beats SLU, Union beats RPI, Rochester beats RPI, Rochester beats Hobart.  This is the only time the non-league opponent tiebreaker could come into play, with Hobart, Union and Rochester all at one loss -- to one of the other tied opponents.

The Hobart-Alfred matchup really only has Pool C implications for Hobart.  And the way Pool C is shaping up, it may actually be more decisive than we think (i.e., Hobart with two losses -- Alfred and Union -- COULD still make it into the NCAAs).  It's not just the LL that is in the middle of a spread-out conference standing season...It's the entire Division III.
