Fighting Dutchmen

Way to go Union!  Aside from the hockey debacle against q-pac last night, this has been a great weekend.

We also took down William Smith with 3 seconds left in the second overtime period to win the libety league championships in women's soccer, 2-1.

now if we can only get the skating dutchmen to take those ivy bastards down a peg or 2 tonight.

Go U!!
for the personalized pictures, they really did a tremendous job of picking a lot of crap

Congratulations to the Dutchmen players and coaches for a great win at Hobart.

I look forward to watching the battle for the SHOES next week in Troy.  I suspect that with nothing to lose, RPI will lay it all on the field in what should be a epic battle.

Wow - expected a lot more from Hobart, but TGP's hat is off to Union.  For the second year in a row they wanted it more and made our team look unworthy of our top 15 ranking.

Just seemed like today Union had the better plan, better coach and better athletes on the field.

UofR with a solid win over RPI.  Hobart could be staying home from the playoffs if they come out flat like they did today.

That is too funny before you even get to the story.  LMFAO, thanks Gro, +K to all for that.

Holy Fugly!

The Rev and his dad disagree.  Rev's dad thinks Hobart played better than score shows.  The Rev thinks Hobart looked like they partied their Aces off last night and were too hung over to move today.  If I had to su up what I witnessed in one word, my word is Lethargy.

The Rev might simply not have good perspective because the idea of paying for a plane ticket to go see his team win turned into soe of the worst money spent.

The Rev met dea, whose son is a class act.  Toward the end of the game, Sean Mizro got laid out like a jigsaw puzzle and dea's son walked up and offered him a hand up.  It was the best thing that happened to Hobart all day.

The Rev is bitter.  Wasted moola on a ticket and missed work, froze his twig and berries off, and saw a urine poor game.  The Rev decided the game was over on Hobart's second offensive play: Mizro has ball, looks like he might hand off to RB, who fell on his face before taking handoff.

I hope Union can take it pretty far this year and do the L proud.

FINAL

Rochester 30 RPI 23

Does anyone have the "Points Against" stat handy on RPI? RT is scratching his head....he is incredulous at how many points RPI has seemingly given up this year. By RT's recollection, RPI has given up more than 21 points at least 4 times (Hobart, KP, UP, SlU)..is this correct?

RPI has always been known for its defense and this season is unusal to RT

Hey RT,

UNION 82 hasn't heard from RT since the beginning of the season.
Of course, UNION 82 hasn't been around.

UNION 82 feels the defensive frustration. Look at the points Union gave up so far. Way too many. Like everyone says, too bad they can't have one of those great offenses with a great defensive year.

UNION 82 fears UNION 82 can not make the RPI game, stranger things have fallen in to place though. In any event, hang in there and have fun.

Rev-

Great to see you at Boswell Field today.  It was nice to meet your father and brother.  Union played a much better game and deserves to win the LL.  However,  Coach Craig will get the troops ready for U of R.   We need a win in order to have 2 teams represent LL in the NCAA's.

On another note,  my daughter has been to 14 Bart games before  the age of three and is very devasted by her first witnessed lose of the Statesman.

U82,

congrats on the win today.....RT certainly hopes you can make it to the game. Would've been nice if the circumstances were similar to last year but hopefully RPI can bounce back and end the season on a strong note. Keep RT posted as to your chances...
