Rev- If Reg drops an elbow of a stewardesses head for banging her cart off regs shoulder for the thrid time, what punishment will he receive.
She will kick you ace for calling her a stewardess, and then she will sic the coppers on you.

Quote#2- Reg recently took a trip to Italy, where on the direct flight home, they cancelled the flight all together, two week prior and forgot to tell Reg until he showed up for his 9:30am flight (Reg got home by flying to London, then back to DC, which my airline set up)....what compensation should Reg ask for?

Reg should ask for both the flight he missed, and a second complementary international round trip flight for the trouble they caused.  They won't want to give it up.  But ask high, expect less.

Quote#3- What happens when people check bags without you in front of them?  Are the people like <holding up size 22 thongs> "Yo Billy, check this ish out dude!, I could wear these as a tank top!"
The Rev hasn't run into massive thongs, but he has seen more than his fair share of vagisil, in which case he discretely puts it aside without mentioning anything about yeast.

The most offensive thing The Rev has seen is a massive "pleasure device" in a male flight attendant's bag.  The Rev also had a guy two weeks ago with a few knives in his bag.  The Rev saw them on the x-ray, pulled the bag and man asideand asked his first question (ALWAYS the first question): "Sir, do you have anything sharp or dangerous like a knife in your bag?"

This dude's answer: No.

Open bag...four BIG hunting knives.  "Sir, are these knives sharp or dangerous?"

"Oh.  No, not really."

"Sir, you are aware that knives cannot be carried on a plane."

"No, I had no idea."

The Rev's mind goes to another place where he is allowed to say, "Sir, you must live under a G-D rock because everyone who is not a dumb MF knows that knives are sharp, dangerous and forbidden on planes!"

The Rev's mind comes back into his body and the Rev says, "Well, yes, sir, knives are not allowed, but if you like you may take your bag back to the ticket counter and check it in, or you may voluntarily abandon these weapons."

Consummate professional.  The Rev cannot wait until he is eligible for promotion.  The Rev cannot handle smelling anymore feet.

PBR...

rev...pbr agrees with you on the feet issue....last couple of times at the security checkpoint the smell was worse than any locker room pbr could remember....definetly makes pbr glad he never became a podiatrist....

LD11 is extremely happy with the Louisville start to tonight's game.  LD11 is in no way affiliated with any gambling situations, but he really hopes Louisville wins by more than 6, and greater than 51 points are scored in the game.  Strictly because LD11 is a firm believer in the legitimacy of the Louisville squad and also likes when teams score lots of points.

LD11 is also still a firm believer that Union SUCKS!!!

On my way to nashville... 518... gro is BACK.

NNR teaches at a ghetto high school as you all know... Pep rally last week the hip hop dance team did chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side... NNR has been "letting it rain, and clearing it out" all week in class

TGP, it's all good. Humanities is like 24 out of 128 credits (and if you need some sleep you can read up on gro's required classes like themodynamics and differential equations woo!!)... the funny thing is every humanities class has technology mixed in it somehow. Even the dinosaurs class that RT took, all the dinosaurs had frickin lasers attached to their fricken heads.

Reg.....did 'Gro just post "woo" in his message.....NNR has been hammered for similar behavior.....you may need to bash half full Miller Lites of his cranium for that one.

U89-
Get off Gro's NS.....I believe that NNR used the word "WOOT" at the end of his emails....which means:
"w00t" was originally an trunicated expression common among players of Dungeons and Dragons tabletop role-playing game for "Wow, loot!" Thus the term passed into the net-culture where it thrived in video game communities and lost its original meaning and is used simply as a term of excitement.

"I defeated the dark sorcerer! Woot!"

I also think Gro was being saracstic...when NNR thought that saying woot at the end of a sentence would be cool.

U89-
cool or uncool?

Reg... NNR does apologize for the word woot... many years of Everquest and WOW has turned me into what some would call an Engineer-like person....

I just read Keith McMillan's "Around the Nation", several times in fact because I thought I might have overlooked something, but alas here is Mr. McMillan's list of the big rivalry games on Saturday

Bowdoin (1-6) at Colby (2-5): Someone has to reign in Maine, and it won't be Bates (0-7) this year.
Coe (6-3) at Cornell (2-7): Eight points from being conference champs, the Kohawks meet the Rams, who have lost seven straight, in meeting No. 116, which is at the end of the season for first time since the Midwest Conference days.
Cortland State (8-1) at Ithaca (7-2): Going since 1959, it isn't the oldest, but it might be the most fierce. And it's got a team, maybe two, with a playoff shot.
DePauw (6-3) at Wabash (7-2): There's nothing these Indiana rivals like about each other, but they both want the Monon Bell in their 113th meeting.
Hanover (4-5) at Franklin (8-1): With eight victories so far, the Grizzlies now want the Victory Bell and a playoff shot.
Muhlenberg (4-5) at Moravian (4-5): These teams become Centennial Conference rivals next year, but they've been at each other's throats for a long time already.
Randolph-Macon (2-7) at Hampden-Sydney (3-6): Teams have come into most recent matchups with divergent fortunes. They're both bad heading into Game 112.
Trinity (Conn.) (6-1) at Wesleyan (3-4): No "best team not to make playoffs" title on line for Bantams, no win streak. Just a chance to win the 106th meeting with its Connecticut rival.
Williams (7-0) at Amherst (5-2): Our granddaddy of them all, with no playoffs ahead, the Ephs take an undefeated record to Amherst for the umpteenth time in the 121 meetings.
Wilkes (9-0) at King's (6-3): Crosstown scuffle should feature a lot of defense.

I guess the 104th game in the battle for the Shoes just doesn't cut it.  Consider how far RPI vs Union has fallen.  Last year the guru comes to town to see the game and this year it's chopped liver. :(

Figured someone would catch this....

Send Keith an e-mail. It's so so hard to understand how something could get forgotten by a guy who writes 4,000 words a week for us.

(That's sarcasm, just to be clear.)

TGP wasn't going to give Keith a hard time since from what TGP has read, Keith seems like pretty much an unabashed North/South D3 guy anyway.  If you read his bio it even says he went to an ODAC school and covered it for a couple years afterwards.  He's not going to know as many of the Eastern rivalries as well as the members of the LLPP would.

Cut the guy some slack.

Multiple-choice question here. Maybe it could even be a poll question. Please play along:

Reasons Union-RPI wasn't initially listed in ATN:

a) I hate RPI and I really hate Union.
b) I am stupid and never heard of the Dutchman's Shoes game until today.
c) I had it on my handwritten list but failed to type it in.
d) It was a cheap internet writer's trick to get more clicks as ATN is read "several times."
e) My Adidas shoe deal forbids me from endorsing wooden cloghoppers.

You make the call!

U89, what's wrong with a stocking cap?  That's just how I roll.  I look way tougher lwith my wool GAP stocking cap.

Louisville is now scaring me.

I heard Audino drank wine out of the shoes last year.  Any truth to this?
