K-mack, apology accepted... but you've just been signed up to cover Shoes 2007.

Cool, I'll start checking my mailbox for the travel stipend.

Tell RPI, if they're gonna be choppin' wood tomorrow, to save something for Saturday's game.  ;)

I like that one.

You guys love your rivalry a lot more than I love mine. But I guess we've just hit some hard times. It's still a hell of an event, even in a bad year.

I've also played in four and been to another five or six maybe. It's cool to test out some of the other ones.

Let me know when I can order my Dutchman's Shoes Game DVD ... or do you not have one?

There's going to be a DVD this year but it's of the post game debauchery.  They are calling it...

Multiple-choice question here. Maybe it could even be a poll question. Please play along:

Reasons Union-RPI wasn't initially listed in ATN:

a) I hate RPI and I really hate Union.
b) I am stupid and never heard of the Dutchman's Shoes game until today.
c) I had it on my handwritten list but failed to type it in.
d) It was a cheap internet writer's trick to get more clicks as ATN is read "several times."
e) My Adidas shoe deal forbids me from endorsing wooden cloghoppers.

You make the call!

K-Mack,

You forgot to refer to yourself in the third person, per the LLPP, Inc. S.O.P.

Please consult Reguhater for punishment.

Keith grew up in Jersey. He's not East-ignorant.

I just realized that this is mentioned in the same rivalry item.

Clearly we have some skimmers among us. CTRL+F and "RPI" huh?

Rev. Hobart's knife and feet story was amusing. What did dude do with the knives?

I think you should be allowed to say sarcastic stuff if you are in possession of said knives.

Nerds gone Wild video is going to be HOT.

I heard it was rated Six Sigma by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.

Believe it or not, we let him keep the knives, but he had to go back and check his bags in rather than carry on.  The oddest thing is that this dude had a suitcase full of toddler-girls clothes.  Tons of cutesy outfit with Hello Kitty and Dora the Explora...and of course, the knives.

As for the feet...by the end of a shift, the whole check point just reeks.

The entire job cries out everytime I walk into the gate:

"Rutgers is ready to try the impossible.  The field goal will be from 33 yards.  For the lead.  The snap, the spot, the kick...IT'S NO GOOD.  But wait, a flag...Ito gets a reprieve with an offsides against Louisville.  Now from 28 yards.  We're ready again.  The snap, the spot, the kick...IT'S GOOD!   Rutgers takes a huge step toward a Top 10 ranking, leading this game 28-25 with just 13 seconds remaining.  OHHHHHHH MY!"
