We dont gamble on the nfl and we dont "try" to hook up with women.  Things just happen here.

Well, you just told me that I had a plethora, and I would just like to know if you know what it means to have a plethora. I would not like to think that someone would tell someone else he has a plethora, and then find out that that person has *no idea* what it means to have a plethora.

I am sorry El Guapo.

In a way, each of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo, like RowanTexan. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Nobleman Lewis "The Beefy" J. Dogg XI Esquire of Hill Valley, the people of Santa Poco can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who also happens to be 'the actual' El Guapo!

Jonny Utah

El Guapo, I know that I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect and education, but could it be that once again, you are angry at something else, and are looking to take it out on me?

oh no insult the uniforms again- like no one has ever heard that one.  As far as down time yes i took off the whole next month until the stagg bowl to "hang" with you guys- or until next week when your teams are gone and your posts turn back to gambling on the nfl and trying to hook up with women.

CK

Hmm...lets see. Last RT checked, D3 football ends in Dec. and there doesn't appear to be any Rowan players or LL guys playing on Sundays.
Here's a better question....how many more titles than any LL team have the Poop-heads won?

Lord RT, there have been players of the brown and gold in the NFL. So hate the poster not the player.  The Profs may have a recent grad heading to NFL Europe.

Senor RedTackle

After donning haz mat gear, RT made a trip to the NJ board (JT has built up a healthy tolerance over the years and needs no suit). Once again, it didn't take long to find RowanTexan in a state of trash talk

yeah its pretty bad huh?  I'm not to popular in the LL post but who cares anyway.

CK

He's right though...no one cares about him here....

touche....actually, RT thinks there was an RPI lineman in the 1940's...some 300lb guy who did a stint w/ the Rams...

The Professor doesn't know of any former Dutchmen that may have been in the pros in the past, however he is happier that he doesn't have to see his team don brown and gold.   The Professor would go nuts if he were born to a Padres or Astros fan after their history of brutal uniforms.

What did Reg miss these past few hours?  I try to catch up on some email away from LLPP and all the sudden people change their names and develop a new language.

As to the Rowan colors Sir JT posted this a few days ago on the NJAC board answering a question to color change on the uni's:

The school colors come from the brown eyed susan flower which used to grow around the Whitney estate (wealthy glass bottling family mid 1800's to early 00's, hence Glassboro).  The Whitney estate became the beginnings of Glassboro Normal Teachers College (1923).... fast forward, fast forward, 1969 hosted summit between U.S.  Pres. Lyndon Johnson and Russia. yada yada yada... 100 million dollar donation in 1992 by Henry Rowan to start an engineering school in South Jersey.

I think the uni's have improved significantly from the 90's and early 00's.  I like the all yellow or mustard look and the all white with yellow numbers. The all brown or brown combination isn't bad, it used to be much worse.  I'm a big fan of history, so other than playing around with different shades, I don't see a color change.  Plus with rare exception Rowan's uni's are, for good or bad, distinctive.

The grassy knoll on '86 was hilarious... it was HUGE. There may have been a union player under there waiting to grab an ankle if the play went by.

If you look at the game's stats... union DID showcase their talent. 400+ yards of offense. Over 100 rushing from TA and 100 receiving each from their 2 starters. Gro couldn't belive it when he read it. Bottom line, RPI wanted it more. Can't belive how many INT's RPI dropped!!  the game could of been a lot more in red's favor.  Then... can't belive RPI was throwing the ball with the lead in the 4th, that INT could of killed them.

Union fans... schmans... was anyone else suprised?  Sorry DEA I know you were just ribbing the RPI guys and posting the facts "Shoes, Schmooze bring on the NCAAs" but you got exactly what you wanted. Good luck at SJF, that game is winable for union but they are tough to beat at home.  Maybe Audino can call up King and ask for some tips at beating SJF.

Firstly, dea is a parent of a current player and has made numerous silly/ill-timed statements like this.  This and previous statements like it are reasons for RPI supporters hatred....to U89's knowledge, dea never played or attended Union....poor representative.

On to more important things, game related:

1)  It was great to once again see the LLPP, Inc. "Whack Pack"....RT, AJ & Garnet, great to see you all again.....Reg, Mrs. Reg & 'Gro, great to meet you as well as our honorary member, LawyerGro...U89 looked under that big clump of mud on the field and much to his chagrin could not find LD11...hopefully next year.

Did anyone look to see if Holladawg was under the grassy knoll?
