It is no easy feat to peruse the anals of LL history for Tue, 11/14 in the year of our Lord 2006....or, more specificially, catcing up on 6 pages of posts. The formal tongue of our well-spoken knighthood has made this exercise about as tenuous as getting in a clothes dryer with Freddy Krueger.

The Earl of Kameltowe returns after a long day conducting commerce from his gilded coach across the vast domain of his fiefdom.  Much business was done, the money purse made fat again, and grogs of swill were consumed between 4-5pm.

The Earl has giveth thought to this Saturday's feats of strength in Rochester and Cortland and predicteth the following outcomes

As Cortland State has only kickball majors, all jersey schools have nuclear waste sites next to them. The stereotypes of eastern football lore shall be carried out to the fullest for the rest of said playoffs.  Admit to thineself that Jersey is dirty, the team of Rowan reeks of transfers, and that the garb of said team is a brownish brown of the mudflats of Cardiff, and a yellowish yellow of the potatoes of Edinborough...

Ye shall be tried for debochery in the high court of LLPP if this nonsense continues!

Jersey may be dirty but the Glassboro area is relatively clean.  Baron Dieter Van Grohausen played against the last Rowan team that reeked of transfers in 1999.  Since then the Profs have adopted the Mount Union model with mostly four year kids.  That is not to say that there aren't a handful of transfers on the team from year-to-year. The garb is what it is.  The all yellow with brown trim is probably the best look.

aye, twas Baron DVG-IX who did battle with the prof/owl hybrid army on the cusp of the new millenium... The hybrids struck 1st and fast on harkness field, when a man of large stature seeminly grabbed the ball out of midair... quickly the red army found themselves fighting with wounded ranks. The remaining 54min of battle was one for the ages, the Engineers playing the profs as tough as any foe that year including the purple clan that resides in northeast Ohio.
