The Rev was thinking about how he likes to conjugate that verb sh*t, shat, shut.

Present: Everyday I sh*t at 7 a.m.
Past: Yesterday, I shat myself in the subway station.
Pluperfect: I was trying to sneakout a little fart, only to discover I had shut myself.

The Rev's advice: Never be afraid to s**t yourself.
This is wonderful! Brings me back to high school, when we conjugated the German form of that verb on the black board prior to the teacher entereing the room. He walked in, looked at it, made one correction, then proceeded to teach the class. That Friday, for our weekly quiz, guess which verb was on the paper to conjugate?!?! :D

if ANYONE is out there, turn on ABC and watch this game show "Show Me the Money" with William Shattner. It's the pilot....trying to add some new twists to Deal or No Deal but a little more spicy. It's first contestant is something that Shasha Baron Cohen would play on Da Ali G Show. William Shattner is classic. RT can't even figure out if this is real....dancing girls get an A+
Anyone find it funny that ABC is using of the word "Shat" to promote the show? In many circles, this is the past tense of another familiar word that means to deficate. What is ABC saying about the show???  ;D

TGP did and it cost him about 5 in the karma dept.  Oh well.  Live and learn.
At least you are in the + column. Tired of all the game shows on TV. It has come full circle, with TV going back to its infancy. Add to that reality TV, and you see why I only watch CSI and sports each week.

radiomike has to put 'Friday Night Lights' and 'Jericho' on his list...those are the only 2 shows RT watches that don't involve live (real) sports or have a highlight theme on said sports

RT is dead on with the FNL pick:

Big time HS football with all the drama and craziness that goes with Texas
Hot cheerleaders
Hot chick who throws parties with "dancers" in the middle of an empty oil field
Interesting subplots (ND bound QB gets injured, best friend starts screwing his hot cheerleader gf, hot shot RB starts using steriods, nerdy back up becomes starter, coach deals with insane boosters and towns people, the list goes on....)

That is enough right there, but add in some decent casting and ok acting and you've got a winner.

RE: sleeves

Im not saying Im tougher than the next guy, but dont sleeves just get in the way?  Wouldn't they be annoying when they get wet, and then be just as cold with snow and rain on them?  I never wore sleeves unless I knew I wasnt going to play in the game or something.

Plymouth St in 1994 was also a sleevless day for JU.  This time that crybaby NE team got their chance in the playoffs (that RT explained about in 1993)and got what was comming to them....again.

going through the pics from the shoes game is like watching a flipbook called, "watch gro get drunk".   Most of the ones from the ruck are a complete blur... maybe because by then I had dropped my camera about 5 times. I'll get you some good pics, but it'll have to wait for after work.

Gro too thought that Frank was older...

That's a deal.  It doesn't take much to excite an attorney these days.

Regulator

Smite warning to anyone who endorses the show "FNL"

Are you kidding Reg??  Last night MR and Reg sat down to watch Tv after a subpar dinner (leftovers) and the only thing on is FNL.  After hearing LD11 rave about how good it was, I had to take a shot.  What a stoopid show....how freaking predictable and annoying and whiny stupid hs people.  We watched it for 10 minutes where the kid was always drunk and screwing around on the other kids girl and Reg almost puked. (i dont know if it was from FNL or the left over Chinese)

If you want to watch good tv set the DVR to
-The office
My name is earl
-Prison Break
-Nip Tuck (jsut about jumped the shark)
-Pinks
-CSI
-law and order
-ER

Jericho?  What is that about....some frat house full of old people or something?

Rolevio agrees with The Office, Prison Break, and My Name is Earl.  Though his favorites remain the Daily Show, Colbert Report, and 24.

TGP agrees with the Office - give it a few more seasons and it could enter the "funniest shows of all time" level.  The rest on the list are good, but are shows Mrs. TGP watches and TGP no longer really follows them (pls keep in mind all us Liberal Arts guys have ADD which is why we couldn't score above 550 on the math section of the SAT).

Besides with 2 little ones running around all TGP can take these days are predictable shows about football.  By the time it's 8 pm TGP is too exhausted to handle anything else.

Lost remains TGP's current favorite along with the Office.

'gro

Gro tried to get into FNL... he heard good things about it. He set the DVR and watched a few episodes. It just doesn't do it. There's nothing good or bad about the show (it's a little predictable but most shows are). Gro just felt that his time was better spent playing madden or searching the internet for more random junk to post here.

Gro will put a vote in for Jericho. 1st the main character's real name is skeet, that's a keeper right there.

Other show that get the Gro seal of approval
Earl
Office
Family Guy
nip/tuck (yeah reg, it's starting to get weird... midget love??)
rescue me (probably the best show on TV)
midweek college football

then you have your MTV classics
Real World
True Life
Next, Date my Mom, Parental Control

Damn.....Rt & 'Gro taking the 'nerd' show on the road to......

Midweek College Football is always a winner......add in
1) Survivor
and the Monday night back to back of...
2) Two and a Half Men
3) The New Adventures of Old Christine (U89 knows Reg, sounds gay, but good show).

Where has LD11 been??

Sorry to disgress, but the WTF?!?!? of the week has to go to the Red Sox (and TGP is a born and bred BoSox fan)

$51 MM just to talk to a guy who's never played MLB?!?!  BTW - TGP ain't buyin that the WBC was the same as playing MLB - it was basically an extension of pre-season grapefruit league ball.

TGP also gives the thumbs up to Survivor (even when the players aren't interesting, the more and more elaborate challenges keep TGP into it) and Mid week CFB.

U89 - Better watch out, pretty soon you'll be getting the 40YROV "you know how I know you're....." treatment from Reg

One final TV show comment (and TGP will admit he couldn't resist pulling this from a certain sports columnist's site TGP frequents since TGP has had to look at Daybreak ads on the D3fb.com website all day):

"I couldn't help but notice the 352 promo spots for 'Daybreak.' My question is, when Taye Diggs is trying to explain to his girl that 'every morning I wake up and it's the same day,' shouldn't Diggs just tell her, 'You remember that movie "Groundhog's Day"? That's happening to me except it's a drama, not a comedy.' Is this really the best ABC can come up with to follow 'Lost'?"
