Frank he was misquoted. Use it as motivation if you want but he did not say garbage like that.

After asking the reporter if those quotes are legit via Email, I had a response that went something like "I wont even dignify that question with a response"....

Classy

You mailed Moldinaro?? lol.........  but for real, PLEASE, please, please get off this thread.

Will do, after Saterday....

at first RT thought it was a joke that Emmitt was advancing because RT thought he sucked compared to Jerry Rice...RT is starting to become a fan of Emmitt...RT could never do this...

Reading McMillian's and Guru's playoff article I can't help but wonder why the LL continues to get no love... I really hope we both smash the first round and continue to push forward... NNR is looking forward to the day our conference gets some respect. Union was mentioned maybe once or twice in the article, mentioning they may be beat first round since they are on the road. Cortland State who isn't even in the playoffs had about 10 things said about them. I mean no disrespect to the GURU or McMillian (both work their butts off), but you know something is wrong when the shoes game didn't even make "best rivalries" last week.

I was OK with you until the last sentence. I think you're completely unaware of what it takes for Keith to write a 5,000-word column every week. If something gets dropped, sometimes it's just a goddamn accident and not f-ing intentional.

For the rest, well, the LL has both teams on the road, remember. That should be an indication to you of something regarding who's favored.

I'll remind you that we respected the LL quite a bit in the preseason conference rankings. They moved up nine spots. Pretty large bit of respect there.

It's OK, Pat.  Saturday will tell the story.

You gotta remember that at the heart of it, we all appreciate what you and K-Mack and the rest of the funky bunch at D3sports.com do.  However, you have to view what you publish here in the same vain as a newspaper.  There is plenty of unbiased reporting, which gives us all the background to make certain arguments and learn about other teams in D3.

There is also plenty of editorializing in a lot of the content.  Polls, picks and the such are, what I would call, nearly equivalent to newspaper editorials.  Readers who disagree often send in "Letters to the Editor" to verbalize those feelings.  This doesn't mean that the writer hates the New York Times or has displeasure with the concept; it means that the reader disagrees and is given a platform for a little equal time.  Very rarely do you see the Editor respond in a way that is almost mean-spirited toward the writer.  The reason:  mutual respect that both have taken the time to reason and write their views.

The last week, I've read a lot of your comments around the boards here, and it seems like you're taking an angrier tack than normal.  I'm aware of the work that you're facing -- we're all pretty aware of it.  Yet, I'd give you the same advice as I give friends of mine and parents who have issues with comments on these boards:  the angrier you get and post, the less people will respect your position and opinion.  Sometimes, I forget my own advice, I'll admit.  However, in following it as much as possible the last couple years, I've made some pretty good friends with the folks on here from all LL schools.  I think that was proven to me at the Ruck last weekend, as people who used to think I was a jackass (okay, many probably still do) shared a drink with me (and lost at darts -- RT) and laughed it up.

My point:  relax and laugh -- and don't take everything so personally.  If we're posting on these boards, we obviously have taken the time to enjoy and learn from the multitude of information available.  Your own click-through stats probably would show that there is a pause between people clicking D3Football.com and then the Post Patterns link.  We all mean no harm here.

Thanks for everything this season...and thanks for the opportunity to learn and speak here.

JT finds most people to be nicer in person than their posting rep.

Advice to any LLPP Inc posters, lurkers, smiters, and readers who are still in college or live close enough to a college:

Mmmmmm...I like...would like to give her some sexy time!!!  But if she cheat on me....I CRUSH HER.

+1K to KR....where you been dude??

Playing doctor and doing so a half hour commute from KR's apt of love is eating up a lot of my time.

U89 gives KR +1 and reluctantly gives +1 to TDT to bring him to -665.

Thx Grotha....couldn't have done it without 'ya!!

Where do I send the stipend??

Just caught up with everything and U89 must admit that he is happy he got drunk in Boston instead of listening to the debate over bulletin board material between Union and the Fish.......zzzzzzzzzz.

RT is quoting himself..ha. Anyway, RT just went back and read Ray's bio...NEWSFLASH...he's the "internet's definitive resource for Division III basketball and football."

Isn't that the Guru? (at least on FB)??? Why have we not spoken to Ray before????????

I don't think you read it all:

"Ray is also the Audio Director of D3hoops.com, and D3football.com the internet's definitive resource for Division III basketball and football."

Ray Martel is indeed our audio director. It's probably going to be emeritus, as he's been working on getting D-I gigs and has been doing some Army broadcasts (women's basketball, soccer, hockey, lacrosse) for about a year now. But Ray was a founding member of D3football.com and was key in the development of the site.
