Good. B/c asking how Rowan was able to come back wasn't a stupid question.

I agree, and I like all the Fisher guys so I'll back off slightly in being corrective or sounding condescending.  The final Rowan drive was like clockwork.  Easily moved it down the field to get the final score, set up by some good field position at the beginning.

You don't need to back off if it's me throwing out an opinion - but on this one the answer you just gave was all I was looking for. I was surprised when I got home & found out that Hobart didn't come out w/ the W.

Rowan wins.  20-18.

Damn.  Thought we had them.

Great freakin game. Shoulda brought the anacid tabs.  Bart had a great game plan and executed well.  BTW Cragg went for 2 because he didn't want to have to use man coverage in the OT.  Profs scored their TD's against man.

All those dropped passes by the Prof receivers was killing JT.  It definitely changed the complexion of the game.

What a battle, Hobart proved they belonged.

My hat's off to Hobart. Hobart was well-deserving of their playoff berth and they were an opponent that played their heart out on both sides of the ball. The RU D did not have their best day but they played well in the red-zone and were very fortunate to come out with the win. A great game for those who attended.
LONG LIVE THE BORO!

If you do ANYTHING, give it your EVERYTHING!

Thx JT - TGP doesn't care about what they say about Jersey folk - you guys are a class act.  TGP is looking forward to seeing the pix from the game.  Please give a head's up when they are online.

JT will try.  Right now FMJT is stressing JT out.  JT did all the laundry and bought all the trip incidentals for the Mediter. cruise on Wednesday as agreed, so he could go to the game. We're packing now and going to the game was not OK after all. Flying to Italy tommorrow at 5:30pm.

Miss pouty is giving JT the evil eye right now.  She's also mad in advance of my planned attendance to round three should the Profs survive Wilkes.  Stay tuned.... she just may kill JT at any moment.

I'd like to put all of the other stuff to bed for a moment to wish Frank best of luck in his retirement. As I understand it he was done broadcasting when Union's season was over. His loyalty & dedication to the school is admirable.

While I'd thank Tags for the sentiment, as I've said, I'm not disappearing.  You don't attend 75 consecutive Union games and just go poof (unless something bad happens when I try to push the asteroid away from Earth for NASA).  I just will not be maintaining an official capacity for the Dutchmen in the foreseeable future.  What that means?  I'm not even sure.  I'm going to just relax and enjoy the feeling of three great seasons for a while.

As for today's game -- no excuses here.  Union got plain ol' beaten out there.  Congrats to SJF, and I do wish them well (yes, I can root for E8 teams).  Will Sharpe get 7TDs?  No.  However, SJF and Springfield have both gone through wake-up calls over the past five or six weeks (SJF vs. Springfield and Springfield vs. Ithaca).  I think that makes the next matchup between them a classic next week.

SJF -- your team was a class act today.  Your fan base extended that class act.  Thank you for playing gracious hosts, and good luck.  In the meantime, this is the time of year that the LLPP is the most fun -- random stuff every day pretty much.  Who's got my cheerleaders?!

If course there are also NBA Cheerleaders KS wonders what picture you get if you play connect the dots with the first Celtics cheerleader?

"living in the past"...yea, ok. Maybe so but SJF is going to lose tomorrow, so that's all that matters.

Thsi was a quote from Red Tackle last night....now today "all that matters" is that RPI won its consolation game according to him....

SJFF82

"The Fisher defense did an outstanding job of containing Union running back Tom Arcidiacono (Castleton, NY). Arciadiacono, who entered the game as NCAA Division III?s active leader in career rushing yards with 4,909, was held to just 10 yards on 11 carries."

Not bad for a non elite Empire 8 team according to Red Tackle

Take it to bed, you are starting to reflect poorly on SJF.

FF82 - I'm all for letting them know that they got ahead of themselves but the numbers speak for themselves... They have to live with all of the talk.

I think you've driven it home, probably should let this one go bro & start looking towards our visit to Springfield.
