+K to the MIAC faithful....if you want to see some amusing threads, scoll back a couple of pages here to see the all out war between RT and one of the St.John Fisher guys.....looks like they may be the new "beasts of the easts" and a potential opponent to SJU.  Be warned...the talk out of the east already has Mt.U in the title game!!!

Yeah right, Fisher will never make it to face any type of western team...They'd have to beat MUC, and that'll never happen... Bring it on Fisher fans!  :D :D

RT:
The J-Club already had the 2 Left Coast destinations planned & fan travel in tow prior to the game yesterday- Charter flight- fly in & out same day $330.00 (includes special "preocessing fee") plenty of Hamm's on board I'm sure.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

just in case it got lost in the shuffle, this was a saracastic post relative to SJF. As RT has said numerous times since yesterday, he doesn't see SJF getting past round 2..we'll have to wait until Sat to see...

SJUsec,

you guys are amazing!!!...you travel with class! When RT made the trip to Collegeville in 2003 with a number of other fans/parents, there was no formal organzied deal from what RT remembers...AND, RT and said companions were cut off on the plane after about 4 cocktails before 11am!

This is historical.  It may the first time in LLPP posting history that someone was called a cock. That's funny no matter who it is.  Those of you SJF fans that don't get the funny, should stay in the E8.  Negative karma hitting cowards.  Show thyself, you can't handle a knight like JT.  I will cut thee down with my rapier.

I know. I know. That was last week, but JT's off to Europe and he was feeling midevil. Ciao boys... see ya'll in about two weeks.

JT will attempt to monitor the PP situation from the internet cafe on the ship. He may even post a little..... sssh! don't tell my better half.  JT would have taken the laptop and gone Wifi on the boat, but then they might find JT's body floating in the Med.  She said no rowanfootball.com or d3football.com work.

Since JT considers LL posting leasure time, he'll post from the boat with JD in hand.  8)

Booby wouldn't be afraid if Fisher played Mount Union in the playoffs, sure there is a 96% chance Mount Union would win but wouldn't it be fun just to see how your team would fair againt the Purple Raiders instead of just guessing....

Plus RT lets say that Fisher does win this weekend, would you not say they have the best chance of winning the East at that point?

Tie watch... michael irvin's tie knot is normal this week, dammit.

well, by laws of syllagism (sp?) and using Avagadro's number and Planck's constant, RT has calculated that RPI would have the BEST chance of winning the east IF they were allowed back in the playoffs by virtue of the last 2 week's performances - wins over Union and Cortland (who almost beat Rowan who barely beat Hobart), coupled with a 2005 win over SJF. Clearly, RPI is the team with the best chance to win the east.....

boobyhasgameyo

Booby knows that...... I am talking more of in an intense semi-final matchup if it came down to that.  Plus Fisher won't have Robinson and company in 2008, who is to say what the status of the program will be in 2 years.  Could be even more dominant, definitely could be even less...

boobyhasgameyo

Good call RT..... Booby never thought of it that way

RT, I think you've got it. Let's just have an RPI/SJU final.

Fisher,

Good luck next week.  You embarrassed Union, which, if it wasn't for the LL E8 bragging rights, I would be happier than a pig in a pile of poo.  Union deserves to lose.  I'm sure Audino had everyone thinking the RPI game was a fluke and they should roll Fisher.  Well, it didn't happen, and not only did you lose.  You embarrassed yourselves.

Now, I don't want to rattle Union guys on here the wrong way.  That isn't about you, but more about your coach, and the rivalry that has ensued over the years.

That being said...

I think Fisher and Springfield will have a shootout next week.  However, i do feel Springfield has the best chance to represent the East all the way to the National Championship.  Call me crazy.  I don't think an East representative will be able to make a run quite like Springfield has the potential to.

Now, for Michigan, they got their chance.  They shouldn't get another one, no matter how close the game was.  If it was in week 1-3, thats one thing, but it wasn't.  I'm rooting for FLorida to get a shot.
