RT-
i was never a fan of the threatening tough guy....Put the ball in his court by telling him "please do not do that"  If he puffs up after that, get in his grill and throw some bows.

That must have been uncomfortable!!

yes..it was uncomfortable. The only thing RT would've done different was the calm request you suggest...RT skipped the salad and went right to the main course

'gro

PBR, gro likes the idea... but that would create world peace for what... an hour? 2?

p.s.-anybody else in the south getting hit by this nor'easter?  It's pretty nasty in Charleston, sleet, hail, the works.  Stlarry moved south to get AWAY from this crap.

Wilmington is getting some NASTY weather.  it's cold and wet.  Nasty.  I'm outta here tonight.  Heading back up to the Northern parts, just in time for the Boston area's biggest bar night of the year...

NNR usually skips the salad and orders an extra main meal... NNR's mom says he is out of shape and needs to do so before he "ends up like his dad." NNR says "mom you obviously don't know your shapes.... NNR is round and sound :)

attn: llpp'rs....pbr expects everyones full participation.....

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- A Southern California houseboat-dwelling couple has suggested world peace might be achieved if everyone in the world had an orgasm on Dec. 22.
Anti-war activists Donna Sheehan, 76, and her partner, Paul Reffel, 55, are
veterans at generating attention for peace, as they did in 2002 before the Iraq invasion, when they and dozens of friends stripped naked and laid down in a Marin County field to spell out the word "peace," the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Sheehan is calling the venture the Global Orgasm for Peace event and said it doesn't matter what time of day the event occurs and nor does it matter if
people don't have partners, the report said.
The couple said the way to show others of your participation is the global "OK" sign and a wink.
Whether the positive vibrations have any effect on hostilities remains to be
seen, but U.S. Geological Survey spokeswoman Stephanie Hanna said there was no chance the energy would register seismically either, the newspaper said.
"The filters we have screen out any man-made activity, like a truck rolling
past, or, uh, the activity you described," Hanna said.

NNR is willing to help any celebs or models on this day reach their quota... NNR is hoping he gets lucky enough to have his boys swim fast enough to make him a "rich daddy in waiting"

When I was Editor-in-Chief of Union's student paper (Concordiensis), we got ahold of the school's tax return.  It listed Hull's 1996 or 1997 income as being ~$200,000 plus housing.  I'm not sure how they account for the benefits in Hull's figures...but inflation to the point of $1 million seems a little weird.  I'd be interested in seeing the computation.
www.guidestar.org lists the IRS 990 forms of non-profits. You can look up the highest paid people at an organization, as they must list them. You may be surprised to see some of the salaries of presidents, coaches, and in some cases, faculty.

Anyone else think it would be cool if the ECAC's were played on like Wendsday and used as a play in game, so it was given more attention. The short rest would be the team's disadvantage... just a thought

Na...good thought but then the other part of the country would have to get a shot at that too.  I guess you could make it 64 teams if you wanted too, and just start a week earlier.

I think the Ncaa has a formula for the playoffs (for all sports) so that for every 12-20 teams or something there is one playoff spot.

What should be done but its been beat to a dead horse on this site, is just have upstate new york schedules (and other teams like NJ, Springfield or whoever) made up by someone at the end of every year.

I think the access ratio they try to maintain is 7:1 (one slot for every seven teams in the Division that are playoff eligible).

Frank use to have a 7:1 ratio when he was our radio guy :(... NNR use to look to the booth after a pause in action by Frank... NNR saw 7 exotic women from Victoria Secret massaging and feeding Frank... NNR never got invited to the booth :(

gro loves beating dead horses... who's on tap for RPI in '07? Sesquehanna (sp) enters the LL and that replaces the Becker game... but what about Utica, Endicott, and the all important 10th game gro has been screaming about for years??

Gro says keep playing Endicott (mild)
Keep utica or replace with Hartwick or Brockport (medium)
Add 1 GOOD team SJF, IC, Cort, Springfield (hot!!)

Gro... do you think adding the extra good team would be helpful or hurtful... every year there is a very good shot at dropping one to Union or Hobart... is a 9-1 record with 2 strong conference opponents and a mild out of conference schedule better or worse than a 8-2 record with a loss to a powerhouse and a good conference team?

That is a long run on sentence sorry

Reno Hightower

Reno is wondering whether the LL is now better than the NJAC?

Sound silly? Think about this past weekend:

1. Hobart (#2 in LL) pushes NJAC's #1 Team (Rowan) to the limit.
2. RPI (#4 in LL) beats NJAC's #2 Team handily.

...add a good one. Non-conf losses don't matter for the AQ unless it becomes some crazy tie breaker, at which point, a team doesn't deserve to go if it has to rely on all kinds of stuf it can't control.

Supposedly, SJF is doing a home & home w/ Mount Union....RPI should do one w/ St.John's...early in the season, preferrably and after the new RPI stadium is done.
