did anyone catch some DI-AA ball today? Gro was watching some of the app state montana state game and there was a player from montana that had eye black covering HIS WHOLE FACE. Seriously. And the dude was black so it was kinda weird.

As most know on the LLPP, TGP is also a SC fan since he attended grad school there.  Have to tip the cap to the Broons today.  They out played and coached the Trojans.  Even worse than the loss to Texas last year.  Hard to take, but gotta hand it to UCLA.  They just wanted it more.

General ? to football fans who saw the game - did UCLA's DL play great or did SC's OL just absolutely suck today?  TGP thinks it was a bit of both.

The Rev did not get a pretty sweet job he applied for and the stark reality that The Rev is, in fact, a TSA employee as a real job rather than "just a job to hold me over until..." really hit The Rev hard.

The Rev begged God to strike The Rev down by lightning or hit him with a stray bullet...anything but searching bags and smelling smelly people and their smelly things.  No dice.

Then today The Rev reached a state of peace about the job rejection.  The Rev had a transcendent moment, almost Zen.  The Rev works only Friday through Sunday.  The Rev can arrange to do 12 hour days and then he will basically be full-time, yet he will have four-day weekends.  The Rev can keep this joke up until the thesis is finished, and once graduated in May, then The Rev can go get his "real" job.  Graduation will equal freedom.

And the Rev saw it, and it was good.

The Rev noticed that he is now a "starter" possessing three stars.

The Rev is riding high.
